Student answer (Band 5.0)

The topic '' Some people say that advertising is extremely successful at persuading usto buy things while other people think that advertising is so common that we no longer pay attention to it". I have my personal experience regarding this statment. I agree that advertising is so common that we no longer pay attention to it.

Furthermore, advertisment is an essential part of e-commerce. By advertising we convey a powerful and energetic knowledge of any sort of product while consuming very less time. Publicity is very good option on hybrid mode instead of going physically for approaching people. Advertisment is very common that everyone can pay an attention without any effert. If we made some products which are not a useful products in our city or country than we advertise this product through internet to all over the world. So the people reached us to get this product with very eassily So those who said that publicity is extremely successful at presuading us to buy things are right. If we never advertising any product buy saying that we no longer pay attention to it is never on merit.

The survey conducted by an organization and results are same as my opinion because the participent is more than 100 and the survey is conducting through different levels of thoughts of peoples.

To conclude that publicity is extremely successful at presuading us to buy things if we never advertised a product the value rate of that product is less than a product who has advertised.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response attempts to discuss both views on advertising and states a personal opinion agreeing that advertising is too common to notice. However, the development of ideas is limited and somewhat confused. The student argues both that advertising is extremely successful and that it is ignored, sometimes conflating the two viewpoints within the same paragraphs. While the prompt is partially addressed, the arguments lack sufficient elaboration and logical extension, keeping the response at a Band 5 level according to the task response descriptors where ideas are limited and under-developed.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay displays some basic organisational structure, including an introduction and a brief concluding sentence, but overall progression is lacking. Paragraphing is attempted, though the second paragraph is overly long and crams multiple disparate ideas together ('Furthermore, advertisment is an essential part...'). Cohesive devices are used in a mechanical or repetitive manner, such as 'Furthermore' and 'To conclude that'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the logical transition between sentences is frequently disrupted by grammar issues, resulting in a Band 5 performance for coherence and cohesion.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is relatively basic and repetitive, with frequent misspellings and imprecise word choices. Examples include 'advertisment', 'effert', 'eassily', 'presuading', and 'participent'. While the writer attempts some less common terms like 'e-commerce', 'hybrid mode', and 'survey', inaccuracies in word choice and collocation are noticeable ('convey a powerful and energetic knowledge', 'value rate of that product'). These lexical limitations and errors place the writing firmly in the Band 5 category, where vocabulary is minimally adequate but noticeable errors cause some difficulty.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response exhibits a very limited range of grammatical structures. Simple sentences predominate, and attempts at more complex structures frequently result in faulty syntax and grammatical errors. Frequent errors include subject-verb agreement issues ('the participent is more than 100'), tense inconsistencies ('the survey is conducting'), and awkward phrasing ('If we never advertising any product buy saying...'). Punctuation and sentence boundaries are also mishandled in places. Because errors are frequent and often cause difficulty for the reader, this warrants a Band 4.5, which rounds to Band 5.
