Student answer (Band 5.0)
The Given statement tells about the two different opinion of advertising for buying things. First say that it is extremely successful while the other say that they are so common that we can no longer attention to it.
In first view, some people believe that advertising, ads an make them went to buy products through different social media platforms and also on the website. For example, a Mobile ads show on the tv and tell us about the new features like HD Camera, 5000mah battery, Water Resist and also more about them to encourage the people to order this product online or buy physically from the shop.
In 2nd opinion. some people tells about they are watching too much advertising on different media platform and they mostly ignored them. For example. When you watch the Tv shows, Movies and drama suddenly the ad come on screen we skip them because of seeing same advertising everyday. They are boring and distracting their concentration from shows and interest. And also people are more aware of marketing techniques.
In my opinion, showing advertisment on screen is currently more benifical for the customer to buy the product.Because almost every person can connected with social media and internet activity. They dont have enough time to pesonally go to the shop and ask about the feature of product. But now they can access all the information through advertisment and easily decide about the product they are useful or not.Advertisment is the great thing mostly companies spend their 60 percent of funds on it.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both views on advertising—its persuasiveness versus widespread apathy—and provides a clear personal opinion. The student attempts to develop ideas for both perspectives, such as how mobile ads highlight features like HD cameras and 5000mah batteries, and conversely, how repetitive ads on TV shows can be boring and distracting. However, the development remains somewhat limited and superficial, and there is a tendency to over-generalise without deeper elaboration. The position is stated clearly throughout, aligning with the requirements for a Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, showing an overall coherent arrangement. However, referencing and transitions are at times faulty or mechanical. For instance, sentences like 'In first view' and 'In 2nd opinion' demonstrate awkward signposting. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion lacks smooth progression. Pronoun referencing is occasionally unclear, such as 'they are so common' and 'they mostly ignored them'. These issues place the response firmly in the Band 5.0 range, as progression and cohesion require much more accurate management.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to convey basic arguments about shopping and media. There are attempts at less common vocabulary, such as 'social media platforms', 'marketing techniques', and 'concentration', but these are accompanied by frequent word-choice and spelling errors, such as 'benifical' instead of beneficial, 'pesonally' instead of personally, and 'went' instead of want. The range of vocabulary is limited and restricts precision, making Band 5.0 the most appropriate descriptor.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response exhibits a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but attempts at complex structures are frequently faulty. For example, 'The Given statement tells about the two different opinion of advertising for buying things' contains article and preposition errors. There are numerous grammatical inaccuracies throughout, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('advertising, ads an make them went') and incorrect verb forms. While meaning is generally conveyed despite the errors, the high frequency of grammatical mistakes keeps the score at Band 5.0.
