Student answer (Band 5.0)

The topic '' it is though by some that advertising is extremely successful at persuading us to buy things while other people think that advertising is so common that we no longer pay attention to it". I have my personal experience regarding this statement. I agree that advertising is so common that we no longer pay attention to it.

Furthermore, flyer is an essential part of e-commerce. Via promotion we convey a influential and vibrant expertise of various product efficiently. Publicity is great alternative using a hybrid system instead of going physically for interacting with people. Promotion is very prevalent that everyone can pay an attention without any effort. If we made some products which are not a useful products in our city or country than we advertise this product through internet to all over the world. So the people reached us to get this product with very eassily So those who said that publicity is extremely successful at presuading us to buy things are right. If we never advertising any product buy saying that we no longer pay attention to it is never on merit.

The survey conducted by an organization and results are same as my opinion because the participent is more than 100 and the survey is conducting through different levels of thoughts of peoples.

To conclude that publicity is extremely well marketed us to buy things if we never advertised a product the value rate of that product is less than a product who has advertised.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response attempts to address both views outlined in the prompt regarding advertising, specifically mentioning that some people think advertising is successful at persuading buyers, while others believe it is too common to notice. The writer states a personal opinion, agreeing that advertising is too common. However, the development of ideas is limited and often repetitive. The arguments lack clear supporting details, instead relying on vague assertions such as 'flyer is an essential part of e-commerce' and mentioning a generic survey with 'more than 100' participants without elaborating on its findings. The conclusion attempts to summarize the main points, but the reasoning remains underdeveloped and wanders into tangential points about international products. Overall, the task is addressed only partially, placing this performance in the Band 5 category.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is divided into four paragraphs, showing an attempt at a basic structure consisting of an introduction, body, and conclusion. However, the overall progression of ideas lacks clarity and logical flow. Cohesive devices are used awkwardly or inaccurately, such as starting paragraphs with 'Furthermore' and 'The survey conducted' in ways that fail to connect the sentences smoothly. Pronoun referencing is frequently unclear, making it difficult to determine what terms like 'this' or 'we' refer to in context. Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion within the body paragraphs is faulty, leading to disjointed sentences. These organizational issues restrict the response to Band 4.5, rounding to Band 5.0 based on standard conventions.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.5

The student uses a limited range of vocabulary with frequent errors in word choice, form, and collocation that occasionally impede communication. Examples of unnatural phrasing include 'though by some', 'flyer is an essential part', 'a influential and vibrant expertise', and 'value rate of that product'. Words are often misused grammatically, such as 'participent' instead of participants, 'conducting' instead of conducted, and 'presuading' instead of persuading. There are also basic spelling mistakes like 'eassily'. While the vocabulary is minimally adequate to express basic concepts about advertising, the high frequency of lexical inaccuracies prevents the response from reaching a higher band score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty. There are persistent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('flyer is', 'participent is more than 100'), incorrect verb tenses ('If we never advertising'), and flawed conditional structures ('If we made some products which are not a useful products... than we advertise this product'). Punctuation is also problematic, particularly the misuse of quotation marks and incomplete introductory clauses. These frequent errors cause considerable difficulty for the reader and demonstrate weak control over basic and complex grammatical forms.
