Student answer (Band 5.0)
In today's evolving world, advertisment has become a matter of considerable dabate. while some people believe that advertising is important at persuading us to purchase stuffs, others people perspective is that advertising is so common that we no longer pay attention to it. The essay will discuss both perspectives before explaining why i believe that advertisment is important at persuading us to buy things.
One of the main reasons why advertising is necessory is that earlier, most of the people dont have information about the quality of good products. They purchase items without knowing the information and review of the individual about the products. This is becuase earlier there were no concept of advertising agency, when these companies emerges, they use the strategies for the advertisments. with the help of this companies collected the feedback and review of the costumers about the products than companies utilized feedback in marketing which, results in significant increase in the sales of the product due to marketing agency brannds make name in the society.
Look at the Khaadi brand they ustilized the models which gain the attention of customers and result in the increase costumers. Therefore, it is evident that advertisment is necessory, whereas advertising is so common that we no longer pay attention to it at the some extent i agree with opionin.
In conclusion, although due to commonlity of marketing agencies it is no longer people pay attention to the AD, but i believe that still advertisement is necessory.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both views and offering an opinion, placing it in the mid-range of task achievement. However, the ideas are limited and under-developed, with repetitive arguments regarding marketing agencies and product information. Furthermore, the length requirement is NOT met, as the essay contains only 245 words, falling short of the 250-word minimum. The position is stated but lacks robust extension and clear support throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation present, such as a basic introduction and conclusion, but the text lacks a clear overall progression. Cohesive devices are used mechanically or are sometimes inaccurate, such as repetitive transitions like 'earlier' and 'this is because'. Paragraphing is attempted, but sentences often feel disjointed rather than flowing naturally from one idea to the next, which restricts the overall coherence of the essay.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary range is limited and minimally adequate for the task. There are noticeable errors in word choice, spelling, and word form—such as 'advertisment', 'dabate', 'stuffs', 'necessory', 'costumers', and 'commonlity'—that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. The student attempts to use less common items like 'marketing agency', but frequent lexical inaccuracies prevent the writing from achieving a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer uses a limited range of structures, relying mostly on basic sentence forms with frequent simple structures. Attempts at complex sentences often contain errors, such as 'while some people believe that advertising is important at persuading us to purchase stuffs, others people perspective is that...'. There are frequent errors in verb forms, articles, agreements, and punctuation—such as 'most of the people dont have', 'there were no concept', and lowercase 'i'—that cause some difficulty for the reader.
