Student answer (Band 4.5)

Some people thinking advertising is huge way to achivement to buying things in addition some of them thoughts that advertising had not attention seeker but in my opinion that advertising is great attention seeaker for brand to sell their product.

To commence with, one major reason why some people thinking that advertising is succesful persuading us to buy things. This is because if any kind of advertise seen many time that caputer in our mind that real affective when you buying that related thing that you hear or seen. For example a person saw a tv where he seen lot of time a brand Tea advertise they had a picture in his mind whene he gose to buy a tea their mind click that advertise that he saw, here a magic trick that play a brand your mind think that kind of tea is famouse or good You should buy it. Thus, people are manipulated and buy that thing they saw on advertising.

In other word, lot of people thing that advertising is so common that never attract any atttention like a boraing tv ad, billborad and pampletes but when people gose to buy any thing they buy lot of people buy that kind of product that they hear before or seen lot of time eventuale they buy it that is mentally trick brand play with people.Hence, people think not any thing happend with advertising still buy advertising thinks.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both views on advertising and offering a personal opinion, which places it at this level. However, the treatment of the ideas is limited and under-developed throughout the essay. For instance, the discussion on how advertising 'captures in our mind' is repetitive and lacks extension, resulting in superficial reasoning. The student's position is discernible, particularly in the introduction where the writer states 'advertising is great attention seeaker for brand', but the supporting arguments lack depth and fail to fully explore the complexities of why people either pay attention to advertisements or ignore them as common background noise.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is some organisation evident in the essay, with a traditional four-paragraph structure and basic attempts at introduction and conclusion. However, there is no clear overall progression of ideas, and the flow is frequently disrupted by inadequate or inaccurate cohesive devices. For example, transitional phrases like 'To commence with' and 'In other word' are used incorrectly or mechanically. Furthermore, paragraphing is poorly handled, with body paragraphs consisting of run-on sentences that lack internal logical connections, making it difficult for the reader to follow the train of thought from one point to the next.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for addressing the topic. The student attempts to use less common items, but these attempts are marred by frequent errors in word choice, word form, and spelling, such as 'achivement', 'seeaker', 'pampletes', 'eventuale', and 'menuplated'. Collocations are often unnatural, as seen in phrases like 'buying things in addition some of them thoughts' and 'mental trick brand play'. While the general meaning can be understood despite these noticeable errors, the lack of precision and control restricts the range of vocabulary significantly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The essay displays a very limited range of sentence structures, relying heavily on simple clauses strung together with conjunctions. Attempts at complex sentences, such as 'This is because if any kind of advertise seen many time that caputer in our mind that real affective when you buying that related thing', are consistently faulty and grammatically incomplete. There are frequent errors in verb forms, tense consistency, subject-verb agreement, and missing articles throughout the text, including 'people thinking', 'he gose', and 'advertising thinks'. These frequent grammatical errors cause considerable difficulty for the reader and obscure the intended meaning.
