Student answer (Band 5.5)
some people think that online advertising is beneficial at persuading the puschasing online, while others argued that promotion compaign is so common in the society and no one pay attention to it. From my perspective, adverstising is exceptionally successful at convincing us to purchase things.
On the one hand, advertising can highly encourage people to purchase the products. one of the major reason is that companies use alternative images to promote their product more appealing. In addition the afvertisements are repeated on TV or social media and different websites which makes people are familiar to the brands. For example, the clothing brand(SAYA) promote their product with descripted their sizes coulrs and all qualities. As a resuly, after seeing a promotion citizen are inspired or influenced to buy the products.
On the other hand, some people argue that advertising is too much common in these days because each and every brand promote their products by advertising. Nowadays, people are experienced a huge number of adveryiseemnts everyday, especually on social media nad websites. Consequently people can ignored the promotion ads. Moreover, people can easily check online revies and compares adifferent oproduct with others brand before placing the order.
In my opinion, although people become more awareness about the adverstising and some people ignore the advertsiing ads. But still i believe that advertising tool is really effective to urging people to buy a products. Effective advertisement can attract customers attention, create brand reputation, awareness and influencing purchasing behaviour.
To sum up, individuals consider that promotion ads are extremely attractive way to motivating people to buy, while others think that compaigns have no more attention. I believe that advertising is the best tool for convincing people with all usefull information about the products to buy.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and give a clear opinion: the introduction says advertising is “exceptionally successful,” and the final paragraph maintains that position while acknowledging that some people ignore adverts. Your reasons are relevant, including repeated exposure, attractive product images, and consumers checking online reviews. However, some points are asserted rather than fully explained. The clothing-brand example is difficult to follow and does not clearly show how its promotion persuades customers; the opposing view could also be developed by explaining when advertising becomes easy to ignore. To strengthen the response, explain the cause-and-effect link behind each example and make the comparison between the two views more explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. This makes the discussion easy to follow, and signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “To sum up” help identify each stage. The ideas within paragraphs generally progress logically, for example from repeated advertising to familiarity with brands. To make the organisation more polished, avoid relying so heavily on formulaic transitions and connect related points more smoothly. Some links are unclear, particularly the shift from online reviews to the claim that people ignore adverts, and the conclusion largely repeats earlier statements rather than synthesising the discussion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “brand reputation,” “purchasing behaviour,” “promotion,” and “influenced,” so the reader can understand the main discussion. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, word-form, and spelling errors make the expression less precise. Examples include “alternative images,” “descripted,” “huge number of advertisements,” and “the best tool for convincing people with all useful information.” Repeated use of “advertising,” “products,” and “people” also limits flexibility. Build a more accurate set of phrases for persuasion and consumer behaviour, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More natural collocations would make your ideas clearer and more convincing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a concession in “although people become more awareness … But still i believe,” and a result clause beginning “which makes…”. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction recur. For example, “one of the major reason is” has a number-agreement problem, while “people are experienced a huge number” and “people can ignored” use incorrect verb forms. The sentence beginning “although” is not completed in a grammatically controlled way, and several sentences need clearer punctuation. Practise building accurate clauses first, then combine them; pay particular attention to subject–verb agreement and modal verbs followed by the base form.
