Student answer (Band 5.5)

Nowadays, advertising any kind of product makes a significant impact on the youth, easily capturing their attention. Therefore, business owners invest vast amounts of capital in marketing campaigns. However, in some cases, advertisements fail due to poor execution. In my opinion, while marketing is the most effective way to introduce a new product, its overall influence on young consumers must be carefully monitored.

To begin with, entrepreneur started to invest in advertising because it is easy to show the quality of the products. Moreover, people who own a large business so they always prefer to hire a famous personality like; Virat Kohli, Ranveer Sigh and etc. In addition to that due to using a cult fan following they can sell their products. Furthermore, if they do an adverting in smarter way and especially at that place where they can smoothly gain the attention like public places so sells will improve. Internet is the best way for doing adverting nowadays because people prefer to spend a leisure time on social media.

On the other hand, doing adverting only is very common thing. If some have to show the quality of their product so they should include new strategy like products campaign. However, presenting advertisement on social media is waste of money because people always prefer to skip the add. Consequently, instead of capturing attention, repetitive advertisements often cause frustration or blend into the background. Therefore, excessive exposure to marketing can lead to consumer fatigue, rendering many campaigns completely ineffective due to poor execution.

In my opinion, advertising makes a strong impact on people because recent span if people show a eye catching thing in social media or on advertisement frequently so they have to buy it so we can say advertisement is good way to sell the products.

In conclusion, In conclusion, while persuasive marketing campaigns undeniably possess the power to drive consumer spending, the sheer volume of daily advertisements has led to widespread public indifference. In my opinion, although excessive exposure can cause consumers to ignore standard promotions, advertising remains an indispensable tool for introducing innovative products to the market.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views: the first body paragraph presents advertising as a way to promote products and attract buyers, while the second explains that repeated online advertisements may be skipped or cause frustration. Your conclusion also gives a position, describing advertising as useful for introducing products despite public indifference. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The first view relies mainly on celebrity endorsements and social media, and the opposing view would benefit from a clearer explanation of why people tune out familiar advertising. Your opinion shifts: the introduction focuses on monitoring effects on young consumers, whereas the conclusion argues more generally that advertising remains indispensable. Keep one position consistent and support each view with a specific, clearly explained example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an identifiable introduction, two body paragraphs presenting contrasting views, and a conclusion, so the reader can recognise the intended structure. You also use linking expressions such as “On the other hand,” “Furthermore,” and “Consequently.” However, progression within paragraphs is uneven: the first body paragraph moves from business investment to celebrity endorsements, public places, and social media without clearly connecting each point to the main argument. Several transitions are mechanical or repetitive, and “In conclusion, In conclusion” is duplicated. Some references, such as “they” and “that place,” are unclear. Organise each paragraph around one central claim, then explain and illustrate it; use fewer, more precise connectors and check that references have clear nouns.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt relevant topic vocabulary, including “marketing campaigns,” “consumer fatigue,” “public indifference,” and “persuasive,” which helps communicate the subject and shows some range. However, noticeable word-choice, spelling, and collocation problems sometimes make ideas difficult to interpret. Examples include “adverting” for advertising, “sells will improve” for sales, “a cult fan following,” and “a leisure time.” “Products campaign” is also unclear in context. Some wording is repeated, particularly “advertisement” and “products,” and “famous personality” is less natural than a more precise term. Build accuracy by learning common advertising collocations and checking spelling and word forms. Prefer clear, natural phrasing over ambitious expressions whose meaning is uncertain.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt a mixture of simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “while,” “because,” and “although.” This gives the response some structural variety, and the main message is generally recoverable. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts harder to follow. For example, “entrepreneur started” lacks an appropriate determiner or plural form, while “people who own a large business so they always prefer” combines clauses incorrectly. The sentence beginning “In my opinion” also has an unclear structure, and article and agreement errors appear in “a eye catching thing.” Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly attached subordinate clause, then check articles, subject–verb agreement, and punctuation.
