Student answer (Band 4.5)

few individual told that advertising is too successful to attract us to purchase the product although other people thinks that advertising is so common that we no longer pay attention to it.From my perspective advertising has both views pay attention or ignore the advertisement.

advertising attract the women or men through the television, social media and other platforms. Many men or women has attracted from the different beauty products which is advertised by beautiful actor or actress for instance like fair lovely, fairhandsome, alovera gel,and so many cosmetic items on the other hand many men ignore this types of cosmetics or other products which is advertising on television or social media they only trust in purchasing to see visually on the shop . nevertheless it has many disadvantages of paying attention to see advertising products or purchasing this product .mny people this it was the just waste of money. sometimes it was untrusted because many influencers also advertise the product for the money for example the best actors like Akshay kumar, ajay devgan, tiger shroff, they advertise the product which is called Vimal

in conclusion it has both views it increases the ability or knowledge about the product also it increases the purchasing power of the human it has also bad impact like fake products in the market it influences the public to buy unnecessary products like gutka, vinal, etc

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You address both views by saying advertising can attract consumers while others ignore it, and your own position is that both reactions occur. Examples involving cosmetics and celebrity endorsements are relevant to the topic. However, the discussion is brief and the ideas are not sufficiently explained: the point that some people trust only what they see in shops, for instance, is not developed. Your conclusion introduces useful concerns about misleading products and unnecessary purchases, but these are not clearly connected to the earlier discussion. The response contains 212 words, so it is 38 words below the 250-word minimum; 13 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Develop each view with a clear explanation and a specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is a basic overall shape: an opening statement, a discussion of advertising’s effects, and a concluding sentence. You also attempt to signal contrast with phrases such as “on the other hand” and “nevertheless.” However, the main discussion is presented as one long paragraph, so the two views and your own opinion are difficult to distinguish. Several ideas run together, particularly the examples of cosmetics, consumer distrust, and celebrity endorsements. Some linking phrases do not clearly show the relationship between the points that follow them. Use separate paragraphs for the two views and your opinion, and make each paragraph follow a clear sequence: point, explanation, and example.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “advertising,” “purchasing,” “influencers,” “disadvantages,” and “unnecessary products,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the range is basic and several phrases are repetitive or imprecise, such as “attract us to purchase the product” and “paying attention to see advertising products.” Spelling and word-form errors, including “alovera,” “mny,” and “vinal,” also make parts of the response harder to understand. Aim for more accurate collocations and avoid repeating “product” and “advertising” where a precise alternative is available. Proofreading names and common terms would also improve clarity.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, including the opening contrast and the sentence beginning “nevertheless,” but control of sentence structure is limited. Errors in agreement and verb forms occur repeatedly: “other people thinks,” “advertising attract,” and “Many men or women has attracted.” Articles and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent, as in “it was the just waste of money,” while several clauses are joined without clear punctuation. These problems sometimes make the intended relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise accurate simple sentences first, especially subject–verb agreement and past or present forms, then build longer sentences using clear conjunctions and full stops.
