Student answer (Band 5.5)

In this modern era, people have many advancement some people say that adveristing is extremely successful at persuading us to buy things. Other is so common hat we no longer pay attention to it. I am partial agree with this.

One main reason, in this era, the public use their own mobile phone, there are many advertising showed in there mobile phone and see the poster but i think individuals are more attracted the advertising they seen in mobile many people see advertising then they preferred to go the place. Moreover, some peoples not know the place or things when they see the advertis they see reviews subsequently they go there that's why i think it is postive things. For example a new restaurant open in the city many people not know there about. However, through the advertisment in online and offline they citizen see them then they go our youth are preferred to go there after seeing they posters and reels about restaurants or hotals. As a result they growth of your bussiness are rising according to my knowledge many bussiness, shops, places, good, and company grow up in there economic and financial growth through the advertisment.

One main reason, for advertising is so common that we no longer pat attention to it. Every person who start there bussiness there first aims is advertising this is the main point why some citizen think that advertising is so common that we no longer pay attention to it. In this era, people have no time to see advertisment furthermore many public mank fake poster, reels, and videos for advertisment which have broken the trust of many people. For instance, if any shop starting there advertising through different platform but there performnce and products quality to cheap the younge generation, youth and older citizen never neglect this point. As a result shops man face numerous problems thats why in my opinion, advertising is so common that we no longer pay attention.

In conclusion, while advertising remains a powerful tool that shapes choices through smart targeting and emotional connection, its heavy saturation means people ignore a large portion of it. Therefore, I partially agree that advertising is losing its broad impact, and its success today depends heavily on how relevant and creative the message is rather than just how often it is repeated.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both views and give a clear, qualified opinion: the opening says you “partially agree,” and the conclusion explains that advertising can influence choices but saturation leads people to ignore it. The discussion of mobile advertising, restaurant promotion, and misleading adverts is relevant, and the restaurant example gives some support to the first view. However, the two sides are not developed equally clearly. The point that people ignore adverts because they are busy or distrust fake promotions is introduced, but its effect on buying decisions is not fully explained. Some claims about business growth are also broad and difficult to follow. Develop each main reason with a clearer explanation of how it supports the relevant view. The 42 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion that returns to your position. This helps the reader identify the main stages of the discussion. However, progression within the body paragraphs is often difficult to follow because several ideas are joined into long, loosely connected sentences. For example, the restaurant example moves from people seeing adverts to youth visiting, then to business growth without clear links between each step. Connectors such as “Moreover,” “However,” and “As a result” are used, but sometimes the relationship they signal is unclear or repetitive. Use one central point per paragraph, divide examples into shorter sentences, and make references such as “there” and “them” explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “persuading,” “advertising,” “reviews,” “fake poster,” and “emotional connection.” The conclusion also uses more precise expressions such as “heavy saturation” and “relevant and creative,” showing an effort to express the issue in different ways. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, spelling, and collocation errors make parts of the argument hard to understand, for example “the public use their own mobile phone,” “their performance and products quality to cheap,” and “they growth of your bussiness.” Repetition of “advertising,” “people,” and “business” also reduces flexibility. Build a bank of accurate topic phrases and check spelling and word forms; the suggestions below offer practical replacements.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple statements and attempts at longer, complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “when,” “if,” and “while.” The final sentence, beginning “Therefore, I partially agree,” communicates your position clearly and shows control of a more developed structure. However, many longer sentences are not accurately formed, and errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence boundaries sometimes make meaning difficult to follow. For example, “many people not know there about” lacks an auxiliary and has an unclear structure, while “many advertising showed in there mobile phone” has problems with verb form and agreement. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time. Check articles, plural forms, and punctuation when editing.
