Student answer (Band 5.0)
Today's era people say that advertising is extremely successful at persuading us to give attainstion to purchase things. But other believe thought adversting is so gernal that we no longer pay attention to it. I am going to discuss both opinion.
Firstly, I am discussing advantage of giving attention on advertising. I my opinion given and watching ads or billboards in public place is help to understand which items newly lauching and secondly with ads, employees get more information for new opening of jobs and government vacancies. While in my country, if you launching new products to reach to people with the mideum through ads so people are update through ads. It helps company reach as much they reach through ads. Almost advertising is extermely successfull at persuding us to buy things. for example new commercial building have been launching so how people know where is this? with advertising people get to know this building.
In contrast, the disadvantage of adverstising is extermely badly influenced by adults. Celebraties run ads with any brand if the brand's products is harmful of human but celebraties is in ads so people trust the product and consume it. It will become a very bad influenced of adults and it have affecting their healths. for example some celebraties show tobacco ads so people also thought if they are consuming then why we can not consume.
conclusion: it all depends which ads had to show on holding, internet and public places toaly take under government policy all advertising agency get strickly approved by government so all bad ads had stop early .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address both views and give a position, especially by arguing that advertising can inform people about new products while celebrity endorsements may encourage harmful consumption. However, the discussion is only minimally developed: the point about job vacancies is not clearly connected to the question of persuading people to buy, and the example of a commercial building does not explain how advertising changes purchasing decisions. Your conclusion proposes government approval but does not clearly restate your view on which side is more convincing. The response is also 4 words below the 250-word minimum; the 19 words copied from the prompt are not counted. Develop relevant examples and make your opinion explicit throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph beginning “Firstly,” a contrasting paragraph, and a conclusion. “In contrast” helps signal the shift to the opposing view, so the reader can identify the broad direction of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven. The first body paragraph moves from product launches to jobs, then to a commercial building, without clearly linking these points. Some connections are repetitive or unclear, such as “It helps company reach as much they reach through ads.” The conclusion introduces government regulation without a clear transition from the preceding discussion. Group one main idea per paragraph, explain its link to the question, and use referencing and linking phrases more precisely.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “billboards,” “products,” “brand,” “government policy,” and “tobacco ads,” which helps convey the general subject. However, the range is basic and repetitive, and frequent spelling and word-choice errors sometimes strain understanding: “adversting,” “gern al,” “persuding,” and “extermely” are examples. Several phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “giving attention on advertising,” “new opening of jobs,” and “badly influenced by adults.” Choose more accurate collocations, for example, “pay attention to advertisements,” “job vacancies,” and “negatively influence consumers.” Proofreading spelling and using a wider range of precise terms for persuasion, consumer behaviour, and harmful products would improve clarity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, and the contrast between the two body paragraphs is understandable. However, grammatical errors are frequent and sometimes distort meaning. For example, “watching ads or billboards in public place is help” has problems with the subject, article, and verb construction; “the brand's products is harmful” has agreement and sentence-structure errors; and “it have affecting their healths” uses an incorrect verb form and agreement. Articles, plurals, and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “new commercial building have been launching.” Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then add subordinate clauses. Check subject–verb agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries carefully before submitting.
