Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some people say that advertising is most importent for brands to sell their products and us to buy things. Other people think that advertising is so common that we no longer pay attention to it.This essay will discuess both my views with examples.
On one hand, Some believe that advertising is most common and attrictive way to get consumer attentation if your brand is not so famous. Further more, brands focus on tends in their adds to persuading us to buy thinks. Some brands use discounts offers to get coustomer buy their products or some uses strategies like advertising on all social media platforms like facebook, instagram and other famous sites. for example pakistani brand 'Zero' start sellong watches and its brand owner was famous crickter thats tha main reason it get famous amoung youngerter and then it continoue selling other electronic products.
On other hand, some people say that advertising that people no longer pays attentation on adds, like people are busy in their reutein life thats the main reason that thay cant focus on advertising but if they visit malls thay can buy product because on the brand name like JDOT in pakistan, this brand don't uses souch advertising stratigies because this brand is already famous amoung people. Further more, advertising is no longer getting importance amoung young people because of artifical inteligance AI is most common amoung people that they are busy and cracting their on adds like video by which childrens are mostly attrects.
Consulation, it ttue that by advertising brands are selling their products to end users but is also believe that by this they can't sell with normal advertising they won't to get them self advanced in AI.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views and include an opinion, with examples such as discounts, social-media advertising, and the Pakistani brands Zero and JDOT. However, the discussion is only partially developed: the first view is mainly illustrated rather than explained, and the second shifts from people ignoring advertising to AI-generated content without clearly showing how this supports the view. Your position is also difficult to identify. The introduction promises “both my views,” while the conclusion says advertising can sell products but also suggests brands need AI, leaving your overall judgement unclear. Explain each side more directly and state a consistent opinion, then use examples to support that reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs signposted by “On one hand” and “On other hand,” and a conclusion. This helps readers identify the two perspectives. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and several ideas are joined in long, unclear sequences. For example, the second body paragraph moves from busy routines to shopping in malls, brand reputation, and AI-created videos without explaining the links. Connect each example explicitly to the point it supports, and use clearer sentence boundaries. Some linking phrases, including “Further more,” are repeated or mechanically added; more precise transitions and clearer references would make the argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “consumer attention,” “discount offers,” “social media platforms,” and “advertising strategies.” These choices show an effort to discuss marketing rather than relying only on very basic terms. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word forms are frequent and sometimes make the reader work to understand the message: examples include “importent,” “attentation,” “coustomer,” and “artifical inteligance.” Some collocations are also awkward, such as “get consumer attention” and “get them self advanced in AI.” Build a reliable set of topic vocabulary, check spelling carefully, and learn common word partnerships so your meaning is expressed more naturally and precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You use some complex structures, including conditional phrasing (“if your brand is not so famous”) and clauses introduced by “because,” so the response is not limited entirely to simple sentences. However, attempts at longer sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors affect clarity. For example, “some people say that advertising that people no longer pays attention” has an unclear clause structure and subject–verb agreement problem; “some uses strategies” also has incorrect agreement. Articles, plurals, and sentence punctuation are inconsistent, as in “On other hand” and the run-on sequence beginning “but if they visit malls.” Practise accurate sentence patterns and agreement, and divide complex ideas into shorter, correctly punctuated sentences.
