Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some individuals believe that advertisiments help us to purchase things easily. While others think advertisiminets are so popular so we do not pay atttention to it effectively. This essay will discuss both views before presenting my own opinion.
On the one hand, some people believe that advertisimints encourge people to buy products becuase they will know more about th products. Advertisiments show the quality and what kind of materials are used in the product. Additionally, people will compare many products easily and they can also search about that specific items. For instance, Tesla and Vasseline have a good reputation globally due to their successful advertisiments. So, people can trust the prodcut.
On the other hand, other people think that adverticimints are not common anymore so, so it becomes uneffective due to many advertisiments misleading regarding the quality of the products. Some advertisiments use different quality that mentioned in the advertise.Furthermore, this leads to lossing the trust and loyality to products. For example, many people trust some famous charactors regarding adverticiments with different qualities that mentioned. Due to that people loss interest in advericisments.
In conclusion, However ,many people believ that adverticiments are beneficial in persuading individuals to buy more products, Others think that people loss interests and people do not pay attention to adverticiments. I believe that balance between both of them is essential. We should not totally follow that without making sure it is having the same quality . If the company have famous reputation, The adverticiments will have high recommendations.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and give a personal position, so the response is relevant to the task. The first body paragraph explains that advertising can inform consumers about product quality and help them compare options; the second raises misleading claims and loss of trust. However, these points remain limited or unclear in places. The Tesla and Vaseline example does not show specifically how advertising persuades people, and the point about famous people promoting products needs clearer explanation. Your conclusion says a balance is essential, but the final claim about a company’s reputation and recommendations does not fully clarify your own view. Develop each main idea with a more precise explanation and a directly relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs presenting opposing views, and a conclusion. This gives it some overall organisation, and phrases such as “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help signal the contrast. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and some links are repetitive or inaccurate. For example, “so, so it becomes uneffective” repeats a connector, while “Due to that” does not clearly identify which preceding idea causes people to lose interest. The conclusion begins with “In conclusion, However,” which creates an awkward transition. Use fewer, more precise linking phrases and make the relationship between each claim and its explanation explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “quality,” “materials,” “compare,” “misleading,” “trust,” and “reputation.” These choices allow you to communicate the main ideas, but the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “advertisements,” “people,” and “products.” Frequent spelling errors—such as “advertisiments,” “encourge,” and “loyality”—also make the writing less clear and reduce accuracy. Some expressions are imprecise, including “different quality that mentioned” and “high recommendations.” Build a more varied set of topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations carefully; for example, distinguish between advertising that “informs consumers” and advertising that “influences purchasing decisions.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrastive opening and clauses introduced by “because” and “that.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. For example, “advertisements are so popular so we do not pay attention to it” has faulty clause structure and unclear pronoun agreement, while “If the company have famous reputation” has errors in subject–verb agreement and article use. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “mentioned in the advertise.Furthermore.” Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea at a time, then check agreement, articles, pronouns, and punctuation before adding more complex clauses.
