Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent years, there has been considerable debate over the influence of advertisments. Some people beleive that advertising is extremly successful at persuading us to buy things, while others believe that we no longer pay special attention to it. Although both the views have some merits, I strongly believe that advertisments in digital platform have encouraged people to buy some essential household items and clothes because online shopping provides flexiblity and is convinience.
On the one hand, advertisments are extremly sucessful in digital platforms. It provides flexiblity for costumers who hate shopping in physical stores. A buyer can simply search the necessary propducts through advertisments he saw in various website. For example, while watching movie online, viewers sometime see pop up ads about online stores which offers clothes in affordable price. As a result, this ads is converted into sell of the products. Furthermore, costumers can order the necessary product or service suing their smartphones, which can be delivered to them anywhere they want, offering them great flexiblity.
On the other hand, advertisemnts in poster and notice board are sometimes ignored because dont provide detailed information and positive impression to the buyers. unnecessary ads in social media are becoming increasingly comman and often irritates the users. For instance, most of these ads may contain fishing links and illigal links. As a result, ads are often ignored and no longer paid attention.
In conclusion, although advertisments therse days are often ignored but some legit company and product are getting positive resonses and conversion.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both views and state a clear preference: digital advertising can encourage purchases, while some advertising is ignored. The examples of online pop-up adverts and unwanted social-media adverts are relevant to the question. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The first view is supported mainly by convenience and one brief example, while the second focuses on posters and suspicious links without explaining in much detail why widespread advertising makes people stop noticing it. Your conclusion mentions positive responses from legitimate companies, but does not clearly restate the reasoning behind your position. Develop each side with a fuller explanation and make the link between your examples and the task’s two views more explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the discussion. Within paragraphs, however, progression is sometimes mechanical, and some references are unclear. For example, “this ads” does not clearly refer to the pop-up adverts or the products, and “it” at the start of the first body paragraph has an uncertain reference. The conclusion also introduces “positive responses and conversion” without connecting this point clearly to the preceding discussion. Use clearer noun references and link each example directly to the claim it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “persuading,” “physical stores,” “affordable price,” and “fishing links,” and the reader can generally understand your meaning. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, such as “advertisments,” “flexiblity,” “convinience,” and “resonses.” Some combinations are also unnatural or imprecise, including “converted into sell of the products” and “positive impression to the buyers.” These errors sometimes make the intended meaning harder to follow. Build a more accurate set of expressions for advertising and consumer behaviour, and check spelling and collocations carefully. More precise wording would help you explain the two views without relying repeatedly on “ads” and “products.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex forms, including a concession in “Although both the views have some merits” and a relative clause in “who hate shopping in physical stores.” Most ideas remain understandable, but errors in sentence structure and grammar occur across the response. For example, “It provides flexibility” has an unclear singular reference, “viewers sometime see” has a subject–verb form error, and “ads … often irritates” does not agree in number. The sentence beginning “although advertisements these days are often ignored but…” also combines contrasting structures incorrectly. Practise accurate agreement, articles, and sentence patterns for contrast and cause-and-effect. Clearer control of these forms would make your arguments easier to read.
