Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is often argue that the advertising help peoples to persued to buy things.Although in the other part the other peoples think that it is a common and no longer no ones can value it. Whatever, in my opinion it is a very usefull and importent for shelling product or goods in the present time.

In the present time advertisment is the backbone for selling goods. People from different country used this trick to sell there goods in a short interval of time.It not only help to sell the goods it also help to show the importent of the goods in the peoples daily life and provide the good value of that goods. For example my friend anuj have a huge amount of branded new cloeath but he didnt able to sell it into the good price but when he know about the advertisment process he sell all his cloeath in surtain time with unexpect price. As a result people get there product value right.

On the other hand, some of the people do not think that it help to sell product because of the huge amount of uneffective advertising. seller lie to there costumer to sell there product fast and earn money faster therefore, lots of the sellers promote soem socieal influensher to show there product advertisment. As a result costumer was not trust the advertisment fully.

In conslusion, fake advertisment provise a huge amount of risk to buy product and more unrevelant.Althouth, it has more positive escapt just like sellers can sell there product with values, faster sells, people can learn the importence of product and costmur has more option for buy goods from different peoples.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both views and state your own position: advertising is useful for selling goods, while misleading promotions can reduce trust. The body paragraphs are relevant, and the example about your friend illustrates how advertising may help sell products. However, the two sides are not developed equally. The first paragraph gives several benefits, but the opposing view is mainly explained through sellers lying and customers losing trust; it does not clearly explain how advertising’s sheer frequency makes people stop noticing it. The example is also difficult to follow and does not fully demonstrate the broader claim. To strengthen the response, explain each view directly and support both with clearer, more specific reasoning.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph supporting advertising, a contrasting paragraph, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” help signal the direction of the argument. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Whatever” does not clearly introduce your opinion, and “As a result” in the first body paragraph does not make the link between the example and the conclusion precise. References such as “it” and “that goods” can also leave the reader unsure which idea or product is meant. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example explicitly to the point it supports; this would make the progression easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “backbone,” “uneffective advertising,” “social influencer,” and “customer,” and you communicate the general contrast between useful and misleading advertising. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning difficult to interpret, as in “persued,” “sertain time,” and “unexpect price.” Several expressions are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “provide the good value of that goods” and “more positive escapt.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. For instance, describe advertising as helping businesses “promote products” or “reach potential customers,” rather than relying on unclear phrases.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a concession in “Although…” and a cause-and-effect sentence beginning “therefore.” This shows an attempt to vary sentence structure. However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur across the response. Examples include “It is often argue,” “advertising help,” and “my friend … have”; these should be “It is often argued,” “advertising helps,” and “my friend … has.” Some sentences also run together without clear punctuation, particularly the long sentence about sellers and influencers. Practise checking subject–verb agreement and verb forms, and divide long sentences into complete clauses with appropriate punctuation.
