Student answer (Band 5.5)
now, advertisment has become the reality of world. It has changed the thinking process of people. There is long-standing debates whether advertisment is highly successful at persuading individual attention to buy things or not. This essay will discuss both view, but i believe that advertising products are effective at persuading people to buy things.
On the one hand, many people know about vast verity of things by advertisment. The presentation of things unable people to think about the product and busy it at any cost. For example, a person is watching movie on youtube, he watched add related to face-wash. by kowning the benefit of washface, he agree to busy it for beauty. Therefore, advertising products got attention of consumers.
on the other hand, opponents of advertisment argue that, seeing different add is very usually. Some poeple follow traditional way of living. They do not agree to use modern products. For example, a person is seen different add daily but do not want to buy it, because he do not want to change his lifestyle on advertisment. To sum up, many people prefer traditional products instead of advertising products.
From my perspective, advertising products are significant effective at persuading consumers. Most of the people used social media and buy different kind of products online. People are agree to buy it because of it presentation and benefits.
In conclusion, advertising products is best way to boost markerting of any company. Bussniess grow significant by using advertisment. by advertisment, people know about verity of products and want to buy it. But on the other hand, sometime, people waste money on extra products. I think, balance approach is better.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and state your own position: the introduction says advertising is effective, and the body gives reasons why some people notice adverts while others resist them. This covers the main parts of the question. However, the discussion is only partially developed. The YouTube face-wash example is relevant, but the explanation that viewers buy it “for beauty” is brief, and the opposing view is reduced mainly to people preferring a traditional lifestyle. Your conclusion introduces wasted money and a “balance approach” without explaining how this qualifies your earlier opinion. Develop each view with clearer reasoning and make your final position consistent and explicit throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “On the one hand,” “on the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers identify the sections. However, progression within paragraphs is often weak: several claims are placed next to each other without enough explanation linking them. The conclusion also repeats points about advertising rather than clearly synthesising the discussion, and “But on the other hand” creates an unclear relationship with the preceding sentence. Use linking phrases to show cause, contrast, and consequence accurately, and organise the final paragraph around one clear concluding judgement.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “persuading,” “consumers,” “traditional,” and “marketing,” so the subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling problems make parts difficult to interpret. Examples include “vast verity of things,” “presentation of things unable people,” “busy it,” and “advertising products.” Repeated use of “advertisment” and “different add” also limits precision. Build a more accurate set of phrases for discussing advertising, such as “a wide range of products,” “influence consumers’ purchasing decisions,” and “advertisements.” Check spelling and choose words that express the intended meaning rather than relying on repeated general terms such as “things.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a contrast between the two views and a reason introduced by “because.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. For example, “The presentation of things unable people to think” lacks a correctly formed verb pattern, while “he agree to busy it” has problems with subject–verb agreement and sentence construction. There are also recurring errors with articles, plurals, and verb forms, as in “a person is watching movie” and “Most of the people used social media and buy.” Practise accurate basic clauses first, then combine them using subordinate clauses while checking agreement and tense consistency.
