Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views by explaining that celebrity endorsements and repeated exposure can encourage purchases, while some people ignore advertising or rely on product quality. Your conclusion also gives a practical position: quality should come before promotion. However, the position is not fully clear in the introduction, where you promise to give your perspective without stating it, and the discussion remains general. The example of a cricketer’s followers buying a product is relevant, but the point about everyday products not needing promotion is less clearly explained. Develop each view with a more precise reason or example, and state your opinion directly at the beginning as well as in the conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the discussion. Some connections within paragraphs, however, are faulty or unclear. For example, the sentence beginning “people believe on others review” combines several ideas without clear links, and “consequently” does not make the relationship between celebrity advertising and its importance precise. The final paragraph also shifts abruptly from the value of promotion to product quality. Use shorter, clearly connected sentences and make pronouns such as “it” and “they” refer unmistakably to their intended nouns.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “advertisements,” “promotions,” “product quality,” and “fame,” and you use some topic-specific ideas such as celebrity endorsements and social media. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to understand, including “peoduct,” “favrout,” “genrate ceriosty,” and “coustmers.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “give a world wide fame” and “huge advertisements give attention and views.” Build a reliable set of advertising-related expressions and check spelling carefully. Prefer precise collocations such as “raise brand awareness,” “attract consumers,” and “influence purchasing decisions.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple statements and attempts at longer sentences, including a conditional example about a famous cricketer and a product. However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty. For example, “if a famous cricketer does an advertisement … his flowers try to guy it if he need a product” has unclear clause structure and problems with agreement and verb forms. Other examples include “almost every person use it” and “a better quality products … do not need,” where subject–verb agreement and singular/plural forms are not controlled. Sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention, particularly where several ideas are joined by commas. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses with clear subjects and verbs.
