Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people argue that buying habit of us can be influnced by the advertisement, whereas others believe that advertisation not being able to capture our attention after certain time. in my opinion i partially agree with the fect that over buying habit can be determined by the advertisement, while some advertise won't able to grabe our attention.
One of the main reason for our buying habit are drawn by the advertisement able to catch our attention toward them, it feature things which we desire but we ignore certain time. For instance, one person are walking on street, although he don't want to buy shoes but advertisation feel him that his shoes are way to old he need a upgrade, at that time ads drive the buying habit of the users. In addition, on the mordern era Digital adevertisation are being far more prominent, while it hold the data of the user, along with need and buying pattern. It only show ads as the the algorithms.
On the other hand, We are so much use to the Advertisation because they are so common among us. As we are being use to of that ads are shown in our tv or radio. as people can distinguise between ads and feedback of the product. In current time, people are use to of seeing advertise because we show them day to day bases. For instance, person running phone on the daily basis and using internet services, because of apps has a built for ads they shown it frequently.
In my opinion, i am partialy agree with the fact that buying habit of the person determined by the ads now a days, whereas i can not denined the fact that people now a days are habitual of ads and able to ignore the advertisation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both sides of the question and give a personal position: advertising can influence buying habits, but people may also become accustomed to it and ignore it. The examples about an advert making someone reconsider old shoes and frequent online ads are relevant. However, the two views are not developed equally clearly. The first example explains a possible influence, but the point about targeted digital advertising is left unfinished in “It only show ads as the the algorithms.” The opposing view mainly repeats that ads are common, with limited explanation of how people distinguish them or stop noticing them. To strengthen the response, explain the mechanism behind each view and make your final position more precise and consistent.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph for each view, and a concluding opinion. Phrases such as “On the other hand” help signal the change in argument, and the examples generally appear beside the points they support. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because ideas are repeated or connected mechanically. For example, the second-side paragraph repeats that people are “use to” ads and see them frequently, without clearly advancing the explanation. Some references are also unclear, as in “they shown it frequently,” where the reader must infer what “they” refers to. Develop each paragraph around one clear point, then use explicit links to show how the example supports it.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “buying habit,” “capture our attention,” “digital advertisement,” and “buying pattern.” These choices show an attempt to discuss both persuasion and the modern advertising environment. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word combinations are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning harder to understand, including “influnced,” “advertisation,” “grabe,” and “day to day bases.” Several phrases are also unnatural, such as “ads drive the buying habit” and “a upgrade.” Build accuracy by learning common collocations—for example, “influence purchasing decisions” and “become accustomed to advertisements”—and proofreading spelling and word forms. More precise vocabulary would help distinguish targeted advertising from advertising that people simply overlook.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast in the opening and a conditional-style example about someone walking past a shoe advertisement. Some sentence meanings remain understandable, but grammatical errors occur in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries. Examples include “One of the main reason … are,” “one person are walking,” and “he don't want”; the final paragraph also begins a new sentence with lowercase “i.” The sentence beginning “In addition” is difficult to parse because its clauses do not form a complete, clear structure. Practise checking subject–verb agreement and building complete sentences, especially when adding subordinate clauses. A few carefully controlled complex sentences would improve clarity more than longer, loosely connected ones.
