Student answer (Band 5.5)
Adervtising is very important for the publicity of any type of products. People consider that adertisment of product urge us to purchase articles. But some people do not have same opinion about adertisment becuase they easily ignore it.
Firstly, brands make brocher for the puclicity of product. Adevertisment upload online and also in hard form to distribute among the public. People thought that it urge us to buy products becuase with the help of advertisment people knews about discounts and variety of products which brand offer right now. So, they purchase easliy and get benefit by purchasing article in low price because most of the adervertisment linked about discounts and sales.Secondly, people thought that advertisment is very common because every brand and company display variety of offers every month. So, there is very common because it is a strategy of company to gain attention of peolpe to bought things. Also people thought that there is no variation between discount price and actually price. Just company change the price tag from high to low and low to high in sale season. Moreover, my mother thought that its a totally game of brand to manipluate people minds.
In my perpective, advertismnet play a crucial role in our lives because i know the product information how to use, although instructions mention on it but actors guide more about produts. Furthermore, publicity is very important for boosting the business
To conclude, advertisment play an important between publi and product. Through advertisment people know which type of fashion are tranding right know and which bought form where got products in reasonable price.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views: advertising can encourage purchases by informing people about discounts and product variety, while its constant presence may make it easy to ignore and can lead to suspicion about sale pricing. Your own view is also present in “advertising play a crucial role in our lives,” supported by the point that it provides product information. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The claim that actors explain products better than written instructions is not clearly connected to the question, and the second view relies mainly on frequent offers and price-tag changes rather than explaining how people stop noticing advertisements. Make your position more explicit and develop each view with a clear explanation and relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, discussion of the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” “Moreover,” and “To conclude” help signal movement between points. However, progression within the main discussion is uneven: the paragraph shifts from brochures and online advertising to discounts, then to sale pricing and your mother’s opinion without clear links between these ideas. Some connections are repetitive or unclear, particularly “So, there is very common,” and the opinion paragraph is brief and feels detached from the preceding discussion. Use separate, focused paragraphs for each view and your position, and connect each example directly to the point it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “discounts,” “variety of products,” “strategy,” “manipulate,” and “reasonable price,” so the reader can identify the subject and main ideas. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “advertisement,” “product,” and “people.” Frequent spelling errors, including “Adervtising,” “puclicity,” and “tranding,” make the writing less clear and reduce accuracy. Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “brocher for the publicity” and “purchase article in low price.” Build a more precise set of advertising-related expressions and check spelling and collocations carefully; this will make your ideas easier to understand and less repetitive.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a clause beginning “because” and a contrast introduced by “although.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. For example, “People thought that it urge us to buy products” has inconsistent verb forms, while “advertisment play a crucial role” has subject–verb disagreement. Articles and sentence boundaries are also problematic, as in “purchase article in low price” and the run-on transition from “sales” to “Secondly.” Practise accurate present-tense agreement, articles, and plural forms, and divide long sentences into complete units. Aim for reliable simple sentences before adding subordinate clauses.
