However, I firmly believe that the advertisements of the products are significant. This essay will discuss both views with strong arguments before reaching a reasoned conclusion.

To begin with, there are several reasons why people considered it essential for the success of their business. The primary factor is that the widespread use of social media. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You introduce the topic and state a position—“I firmly believe” advertising is significant—and begin to discuss both sides. However, the response only partially addresses the question: the first view is supported mainly by social media’s convenience and an example about women in Pakistan, while the opposing view shifts to fake publicity rather than explaining how advertising’s constant presence makes people stop noticing it. The argument is also unfinished, and there is no developed conclusion. The response is 214 words, below the required 250, which limits the space available to explain and support your ideas. To improve, address both stated views directly, develop each with a clear reason and example, and complete your opinion and conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable introduction and body paragraphs, and signposts such as “To begin with” and “On the other hand” help indicate a change of direction. However, progression is difficult to follow because the first body paragraph moves from social media to an unclear comparison with “the other form of persuading things,” and the second paragraph ends abruptly. Some links are mechanical or do not clearly show how one idea supports the next; for example, “Therefore” introduces a broad claim about advertising’s role without fully connecting it to the example. There is also no concluding paragraph to bring the discussion together. Organise one paragraph around each view, use clear links between claim, explanation and example, and finish with a concise conclusion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “widespread use,” “promote,” “authentic,” and “vital role,” and the general subject is usually understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or forms are inaccurate or awkward, sometimes making the intended meaning less clear. Examples include “outdated strategy” for the view that people no longer notice advertising, “persuading things,” and “fake publicity.” Spelling errors such as “benificial” and “rffective” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more precise language that reflects the task’s ideas, such as consumer attention, repeated exposure, and persuasive influence. Check spelling and use natural collocations when describing advertising and its effects.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a concession beginning “although” and an introductory phrase such as “To clearly illustrates this point.” However, complex attempts are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts of the response difficult to read. For example, “advertising the products through social media are” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “people considered it difficult to knew” combines verb forms incorrectly. Other examples include “most of the womens … spent their most of the time” and the incomplete final sentence. Work on agreement, verb patterns after “to,” articles and plural forms, and ensure every sentence is complete. Shorter, carefully checked sentences will help you communicate your ideas more reliably.
