Student answer (Band 6.0)
A number of people argue that, advertising has become a common way to pursue consumers for buying products that's why people no longer pay attention to it, while other believe that it is one of the successful method for convincing people to buy things. Although people are used to see advertisement of things from their early age that they no longer pay attention to it, I firmly believe that it is still a best way because it can successfully sells products and creates the brand image.
On the one hand, people become used to see advertise in their daily life. Most of the places one's go, they can find advertisement is present there including posters, leaflets, billboard digital advertisement even in the social media it is present. For example, whenever social media apps like facebook, youtube etc are use by people they see promotional videos, pages, posts etc. Even when someone is watching a video, suddenly advertise pop-up, and they can't simply skip it rather they have to wait for few seconds for getting that skip option. Therefore, they become extremely bored and annoyed by this random videos, posts showing in the feed. Moreover, some even thinks that the products that are heavily advertised means those products are not good enough, they are lacking quality or any other problem.
On the other hand, advertisement is a successful tool for selling products and creating the brand image. By doing advertisement, that brand image will be establish and products will be known to people. It is a best way introduce a product. For instances, nowadays product launching usually involves inviting the celebraties there. So what happen is, celebreties go there, make attractive trendy reels and posts, gives reviews about them which grab a big base of consumers. Also, by using digital marketing system the advertisement is become more easier. The analyzing of people's most searched product and what they want is a good way to grab attention of target consumers. As they are searching for that product or interested in that product, advertisement will help them to find the products and buy them. In addition their reviews can be also used as a advertisement. Thus, it is a endless cycle that can really achieve its goal.
In conclusion, while people are getting annoyed and losing interest in watching advertisement, I would agree that its a great way for preserving brand image and selling products successfully.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both views and state a clear opinion: advertising can irritate people, but you believe it remains effective for selling products and building brand image. The examples about unavoidable online adverts and celebrity product launches are relevant and help explain each side. This meets the task well, though the two positions are not developed equally: the first side is mainly about annoyance and exposure, while the claim that advertising persuades people could be supported with a clearer explanation of how it changes purchasing decisions. The point that heavily advertised products may seem poor quality is interesting but is left unexplained. Develop these ideas with specific reasoning and keep the distinction between noticing adverts and being persuaded by them clear.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion that restates your position. Signposting such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” makes the progression easy to follow. Within paragraphs, however, some links feel mechanical or unclear. For example, “Therefore” connects the forced waiting in video adverts to boredom, but the next point about product quality shifts topic without a clear bridge. The final paragraph of the main body also moves quickly from celebrity promotion to digital targeting and customer reviews. Use clearer links between these supporting points and vary transitions, while making references such as “that brand image” and “them” more precise.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “target consumers,” “digital marketing,” “brand image,” and “promotional videos,” which helps communicate the main ideas. There is also some attempt to use more specific language, such as “grab attention” and “product launching.” However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or repetitive, and some errors make the reader pause: “pursue consumers for buying,” “a best way,” and “a big base of consumers” are not natural expressions. Spelling errors such as “celebraties” and “advertise” used as a noun also weaken control. Build a bank of accurate advertising collocations and check word forms and spelling; this will make your meaning more precise and fluent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “Although,” “whenever,” and “As,” and the overall meaning is generally understandable. However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction recur. Examples include “other believe,” “advertisement is a successful tool,” “the brand image will be establish,” and “the advertisement is become more easier.” Some long sentences also combine several ideas without secure grammatical control, as in the sentence about celebrities making reels and giving reviews. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb, and review singular/plural agreement and articles. Shortening some sentences would help you retain complexity while improving accuracy.
