Student answer (Band 5.0)
in recent years, advertasing become the first
methode to bring costsumers, there is no denying that fact that adverstasing play a big role at persuading us to buy things while it's a communly held belief that advertising is so common that we no longer pay attention to it advertising is a succesful methode, there is also an arguments that opsess it , in my opinion i consider thet advertising is a succesful technique.
to begin with people who said advertising is so common and it don't bring our attention that because they think it an old method and we are evolved and we should creat other methode to bring costumers and it also possible to say that some advertising
are boring because all of them are same for instance in each tv chanel we found a lot of advertsing in same product with different companies also some familliar companies such as cooca cola make adverstising while everyone know them that makethe questions why they do it.
another points to consider is advertising okay a big role to increase the sells due to advertising has an impact in our u consicous brain that what the last research found that why companies gets good results when they make advertising comparing when they don't do it
in conclusion, despit individuals have different views, i believe that advertising still has a great impact in marketing.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views and give a clear overall preference: you acknowledge that some people see advertising as too common to notice, then argue that it still influences sales. The examples of repeated television adverts and Coca-Cola help illustrate the first view, while the claim about advertising affecting consumers’ subconscious supports your opinion. However, these points are brief and the discussion is only partial: the first view is not fully explained, and the second relies on a general reference to research without details. Your position is clearest in the introduction and conclusion, but the reasoning needs fuller development. The response is 216 words, 34 words below the 250-word minimum; 13 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation: the response moves from an introduction to a paragraph about people who ignore adverts, then to the argument that advertising increases sales, and finally to a conclusion. Basic signposting such as “to begin with,” “another points to consider,” and “in conclusion” helps identify these stages. However, progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow because several ideas are joined into long, loosely connected sentences, and punctuation does not reliably mark boundaries. The introduction also repeats the two sides rather than setting up a clear structure. Use separate paragraphs for each view, develop one main point at a time, and connect examples explicitly to the claim they support.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “advertising,” “companies,” “consumers,” “impact,” and “marketing,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “advertising,” “method,” and “bring customers.” Frequent spelling errors—such as “advertasing,” “costumers,” and “succesful”—and inaccurate word choices sometimes make the reader work to understand the intended meaning. Some expressions are also unnatural, for example “increase the sells” and “impact in our u consicous brain.” Build a more precise set of advertising-related collocations and check spelling carefully; this would make your ideas clearer and less repetitive.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to express relationships between ideas using clauses and connectors, for example in “while it’s a commonly held belief…” and “because they think…”. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty or difficult to follow. There are frequent problems with verb forms and agreement, as in “advertising become” and “it don’t bring,” as well as missing or incorrect articles and sentence boundaries. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, with the opening sentence beginning in lower case and several independent ideas running together. Practise forming accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with subordinate clauses, checking subject–verb agreement and punctuation.
