Student answer (Band 4.5)
Adeverting has become a essential part of modren life. Some individual argue the advertising is extremely successful at persuding us to buy things. While, other people think that advertising is very commomn that we no longer pay attention to it. In my opinin, the adverting is extermely success at persuding us to buy products in present world.
On the one hand, everwhere uses the soial media platform like mobile, computer and laptop and and scrolling all time. Therefore, the advertisment is less easily method for buyin products. When a shop keeper invite a socialists and they want to advertisment of his own brands and products. Because, the socialist have already most followers on some websits. So, the most people are know about new things and they can buy easily. For example, in present life sailing and buying very easily. When the customer is looking new thing so they are odered by online apps like droppshiping and temu etc. However, the the owner can easily buy the products.
On the other hand, Many individual are scrolling the sponserds without reading beacuse the advertimnet are very common. When we scroll the screen to see anyanother videos about advertisments. Morever, the most people are not buy things from online websites because a lot of things are not originally this way now individual are not trust online things.
In my opinin, Advertising are very good and easy method for customers but we need to want to advertised the original products and improve the things or products quality for buying.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You present a clear opinion that advertising remains successful, and you attempt to discuss both views. The social-media example suggests how influencers can introduce products, while the second body paragraph recognises that people may scroll past frequent adverts and distrust online purchases. However, the discussion is only partial: the first view is not explained clearly, and several points—such as “sailing and buying very easily”—are difficult to interpret or do not directly support the argument. Your conclusion adds a recommendation about product quality rather than fully summarising your position. The response is 247 words, so it is three words below the required minimum; the eight words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Develop each view with a clear reason and a relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs beginning “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a concluding opinion. These paragraph divisions help the reader identify the two perspectives. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear, and some linking words do not show the relationship between ideas accurately. For example, “Therefore” does not clearly connect social-media use to advertising being an “easily method,” while repeated “So” and “When” constructions make the first body paragraph feel like a list. References such as “they” and “this way” are also unclear. Organise each paragraph around one main claim, then explain and illustrate it in a logical sequence, using fewer but more precise connectors.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “social media platform,” “followers,” “products,” “sponsored” and “online websites.” These choices show an attempt to discuss modern advertising and shopping. However, the range is basic and repetitive, and frequent spelling errors make several words difficult to recognise, such as “Adeverting,” “persuding” and “advertimnet.” Some word choices or combinations are also unclear, including “a socialists,” “an easily method” and “originally this way.” This limits precision and can strain the reader’s understanding. Build a small bank of accurate topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations carefully; for instance, distinguish an influencer from a socialist and describe adverts as “easy to overlook” rather than using an unclear phrase.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt a few longer structures, including clauses beginning “When” and “because,” and use simple sentences to state your position. However, the range of sentence patterns is limited, and errors are frequent enough to make some relationships difficult to follow. Examples include “Some individual argue,” “the advertising is,” “the most people are know,” and “Advertising are,” which show problems with agreement, articles and verb forms. Several sentences are incomplete or awkwardly joined, such as “Because, the socialist have already most followers…” and “When the customer is looking new thing so they are odered…”. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement, articles and tense. Use complex clauses only when you can connect them accurately.
