Student answer (Band 5.5)

Advertisment has become common pratice in a society.some people argue that advertising is successful at making attempt us to buy things. while, some argue that advertising is now common trend that public no longer pay attention. this essay will discuss both perspective and will also tell my opnion why i belive that advertismnet is a easy method to gain attention of public and make them buy things because public get to know new product launch by advertisment.

As adverisment is soo common practice, methods that uses are on television during drama breaks, billboard on the roads and social media. As public are busy in thier life they tend to skip the advertisment so that they can save time and continue with thier work.for example if a person is watching a drama,a advertisment came but they tend to skip as quickly as they can so they continue to watch drama peacefully. as a result now public no longer pay attention to it.

advertisment is a expensive way to carry out to display thier product,it depend upon the finances the company have to display in a more approach social media by public. As a public people get to new launch product or any thing useful for thier daily life by seen those advertisment . for instance people dont know new product untill they see on social media , if the advertisment is good enough to capture public attention. therefore advertisment is a good way to sell product

In conclusion, advertisment does make a good impact for product launch and sell. if a good amount of fianances are done to gain attanetion of public. in my opnion comapnies should spend money on making advertisment and help to flourish in the market.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views and give a clear opinion: you explain that people may skip adverts to return to a programme, while also arguing that advertising introduces consumers to new products. The examples of television breaks and social media are relevant. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The claim that advertising is effective because people learn about product launches does not fully explain how this persuades them to buy, and the point about companies needing sufficient finances is not clearly connected to the question. Your position is present, but it would be stronger if you explained the conditions under which advertising succeeds and supported each view with more specific reasoning.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its overall structure. You also use basic linking expressions such as “for example,” “as a result,” and “therefore.” However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the discussion of advertising costs shifts abruptly to how consumers discover products, and the conclusion repeats the idea that advertising helps sell products without bringing the two views together. Some links are mechanical or inaccurately punctuated, and references such as “it” and “those advertisement” are not always clear. Organise each body paragraph around one main claim, then explain and illustrate it in a consistent sequence.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “advertising,” “public,” “product launch,” “social media,” and “capture public attention,” which allows you to communicate the main ideas. However, the range is limited and several expressions are repeated, particularly “advertisment” and “public.” There are also frequent spelling errors, including “pratice,” “thier,” “opnion,” and “fianances,” as well as awkward or inaccurate combinations such as “making attempt us to buy things” and “a good impact for product launch and sell.” These errors sometimes make the intended meaning harder to follow. Build a bank of accurate advertising collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some longer sentences and use subordinate clauses, for example, “As public are busy in thier life they tend to skip the advertisment so that they can save time.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and many sentences contain errors in articles, agreement, verb forms, or sentence boundaries. Examples include “a advertisment came,” “methods that uses,” and the run-on opening, where sentences begin with lowercase letters after full stops. These problems can make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add clauses with “because,” “while,” or “if.” Pay particular attention to articles, subject–verb agreement, and full stops and capital letters.
