Student answer (Band 5.0)
Although some people clame that advertisement has no valu for them and that dosenot infulance them but most of the public are infulace by them and buy the product.
To begin with, advertisement is extremely successful due to several reasons. It play with the psochology of human. To explain it, we see the most of the advertisment because we find it intresting and useful to us but in reality they are not that much effective for use except if theri is actual need of the product. To be specific, these promtional and advertisement videos or the posters and banners are highly noticeable
due to the sciencetifice reasearch behind it which paly with the psochology of humans and made them to buy the product without thinking that is it useful for them or is it worthy of buying it.
Similarly, and they use very famous or inrfulancer personalities. Elaborating on it, the company knows the psochology of customers or public and knows how to make them infulance by their ads. So they use some very infulancive figure which is very famous and have more followers which belive in them. For instance, infulancer who have got more followers and have fame between the public the companies offers them for the ads or promotional videos by which they will make public feel that even theri infulancer use these products that means we should try it or buy it and they very successful at it.
To conclude, it might not affect some people but most of the public are on it due to the use of infulancive figures and the psochology that advertisement paly with customers.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
The response gives a clear overall view that advertising influences most people, and it offers relevant reasons, including psychological techniques and the use of famous influencers. However, the task asks you to discuss both views, and the opposing view—that advertising is so widespread that people no longer notice or respond to it—is not explained. The opening briefly refers to people who say advertising has no effect, but this point is not developed with an example or explanation. Your supporting ideas also remain broad: the discussion of psychology repeats that ads influence customers without showing how a particular technique changes buying behaviour. Develop both sides explicitly, then explain why your own position is more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is a basic paragraph structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the body paragraphs each focus on a reason advertising can work. Some linking expressions, such as “To begin with,” “To be specific,” and “For instance,” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression is weakened by repetition and unclear connections. The second body paragraph begins “Similarly, and they use,” which does not connect grammatically or logically to the previous point, and the conclusion largely repeats the introduction. The opposing view is also not given its own clear place in the organisation. Use a separate paragraph for each side, and make each sentence add a distinct step to the argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The response uses some topic-related vocabulary, including “promotional,” “psychology,” “followers,” and “influencer,” so the reader can identify the subject and the main ideas. However, the range is limited and several words are repeated, especially “public,” “product,” and “influence.” Frequent spelling errors—such as “advertisment,” “psochology,” and “infulancive”—make the writing less clear and reduce the accuracy of word choice. Some expressions are also unnatural, for example “play with the psychology” and “fame between the public.” Aim for accurate spelling and more natural collocations, such as “appeal to consumers’ emotions” and “well-known public figures.” This would make the argument clearer and more precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer sentences and subordinate clauses, for example “To explain it, we see…” and the sentence beginning “For instance,” which shows an effort to connect ideas. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts difficult to follow. Examples include “It play” and “the company … knows,” where subject–verb agreement is incorrect, and “they very successful at it,” which is missing a verb. The opening also combines clauses awkwardly with “Although … but.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation need attention, particularly in the long sentence about promotional videos and banners. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add one clear subordinate clause at a time.
