Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You cover both visuals and give a relevant overview: full-time work is the largest graduate destination, while government and freelance roles have the strongest high-salary profiles. Most figures are accurately reported, including the 52% in full-time work, the 12% unemployed, and the 40% and 50% earning at least $100,000 in freelance and government work respectively. The comparison of private-company salaries is also useful. To make the summary more complete and precise, clarify that the table gives salary distributions among people in each employment type, and compare the sectors more directly—for example, private-company employees are more concentrated in the $50,000–$74,999 band. Some details are listed rather than interpreted, so the key comparisons could be developed further.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction and overview are followed by the pie-chart details and then the salary table. This makes the two visuals easy to distinguish, and transitions such as “Overall” and “On the other hand” help signal the structure. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical, with repeated openings such as “About” and “According to pie chart,” and the shift between visuals could be smoother. Some references are also imprecise: “the highest grossing range in the table” is not clearly linked to the government-sector figure. Use more varied comparison links and make each sentence’s subject explicit to strengthen progression and referencing.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of task-related vocabulary, including “destinations,” “postgraduate studies,” “freelance consultants,” and “salary range,” so the main information remains understandable. There are also attempts at more formal reporting language, such as “earned” and “employed.” However, spelling errors and imprecise or awkward collocations reduce accuracy: “salries,” “consultnt,” “employement,” and “recieved” appear, while “find full time work” is less suitable for describing completed outcomes. “Highest grossing range” is also an unnatural description of a salary band. Check spelling carefully and choose precise terms such as “were in full-time employment” and “the highest salary bracket” to improve control and formality.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and more developed sentences, including the contrast introduced by “while” and the comparison beginning “Similarly.” The overall meaning is generally clear, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, the opening phrase “destinations of anthropologist after graduates” has an unclear noun structure, and “the remaining 8% is unknown” would be more accurately expressed with plural agreement or as “the destination of the remaining 8% is unknown.” Articles and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent, as in “According to pie chart” and “sectors.About.” Use complete, carefully punctuated sentences, check singular and plural forms, and practise accurate comparative structures to make the range more controlled.
