Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You identify the main destination—full-time work at 52%—and make relevant comparisons across the salary bands, including the government sector’s 50% share at $100,000 or more. However, some details are inaccurate or unclear: “Employment was not far by difference of 3% only” appears to confuse unemployment (12%) with another category, and the destination figures for full-time postgraduate study and “not known” are not clearly distinguished. The overview also says part-time work plus postgraduate study was the lowest, although it is tied with no category only if compared carefully; it is 5%, while the other destinations are higher. Cover the chart categories precisely and state the key salary pattern more clearly to make the summary more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, an overview, and paragraphs describing destinations and salaries. This gives the reader a basic route through both visuals. However, progression within sentences is often difficult to follow, especially in the final paragraph, where several salary bands and employment types are joined in a long sequence. Connectors such as “furthermore,” “moreover,” and “finally” are used, but they do not always clarify the relationship between the figures. The phrase “In term of Freelance consultants salaries and Government sector” also leaves the comparison’s scope unclear. Organise the salary information by band or by employment type, and use shorter sentences with clear references to improve cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “destinations,” “proportion,” “freelance consultants,” and “salaries,” so the topic is generally identifiable. However, spelling and word-choice problems are frequent and sometimes make the meaning harder to interpret: “incoms,” “goverment,” “choosen,” “registred,” and “moover” are examples. Some expressions are also unnatural, such as “in their work force” and “the government sector was the dominated sector in salaries.” Use standard forms such as “income,” “government,” and “chosen,” and prefer precise reporting language such as “accounted for,” “earned,” and “the highest-paid group.” This would make the comparisons clearer and more appropriate for an academic summary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response attempts both simple and more complex sentences, including a contrast introduced by “while” and clauses beginning with “followed by.” However, grammatical control is inconsistent, and errors recur in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and punctuation. For example, “the full time work showed the highest proportion” has an awkward subject construction, while “the government sector was the dominated sector” uses an incorrect grammatical form. The long final paragraph also contains run-on sentence patterns, and commas are often missing after introductory phrases. Aim for complete, shorter sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check articles and verb forms. More accurate control of these basic patterns would make your comparisons easier to understand.
