IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The chart below shows what Anthropology graduates from one university did after finishing their undergraduate degree course. The table shows the salaries of the anthropologists in work after five years.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparison where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The given charts illustrates the destiny of Anthropology students after completing their undergraduate degree course in one university and their salaries.

Overall, it can be seen that most of the graduates prefer full-time work, while part time work+postgrad study recorded the least share. In terms of salaries, most proportion of graduates earn the handsome amount of money.

Regarding destination, full time work stood highest with 52% among other categories. Following that, park time work and unemployed accounted for almost 15% and 12% respectively. Both full time postgrad and not known contributed 8% in the share.In contrast, part time work made up the least contribution of approximately 5%.

In terms of salaries, private sector was the leading employement for the students who earn between 25000 to 49999 dollars, whereas percentage of graduates earning 50000 to 74999 dollars in private company is highest at about 35%. People in freelance consultants recorded 40% that was largest among others. In government sector, 50% of the population earn $[redacted phone].
