IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The chart below shows what Anthropology graduates from one university did after finishing their undergraduate degree course. The table shows the salaries of the anthropologists in work after five years.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparison where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The given pie chart describes what kind of work is done by the students of Anthropology after completing undergraduate degree course from the specific university; Moreover the table's data shows the salaries anthropologist employees after five years.
Discussing about the destination of the Anthropology graduates, the highest workers are doing full-time work with the ratio of 52%; Additionally, the second highest ratio of students are working as a part time worker .Whereas ,the lowest level of workers are doing part time jobs with continuing their higher studies.
Furthermore, to confer about the later data the highest salaries are given in the Government sectors which is more than $100,000 in the ratio of 50%. While the second highest wages are in the field of Freelance consultant between $75,000 to more than $1000,000 with 40% of employment; last and the least one is jobs in private sector with only 35% having salaries between $50,000 to 74,999.
To sum up, highest students after completing this undergraduate course are doing full time job and the best salaries are given in the government sector.
