Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response covers the main features of the data, including the career destinations and salary comparisons. However, the reporting of the data is inconsistent and contains inaccuracies. For instance, the description of the table is confusing; you state '80% government sector employed earn 80000', which misinterprets the data provided in the visual. Furthermore, the comparison between sectors is underdeveloped and lacks clarity. To improve, ensure that you accurately transcribe the figures from the chart and table and provide a more logical comparison of the salary data rather than listing numbers in a fragmented manner.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and occasionally inaccurate, such as the transition 'On other hand' which lacks the necessary article. The progression of ideas within the second paragraph is disjointed, particularly when discussing the table data. While there is an overall attempt at a logical flow, the lack of precise linking words and the somewhat abrupt transition between the pie chart and the table data limits the coherence of the response.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are frequent spelling errors such as 'emplyoment', 'comprnsation', 'postgradutes', and 'unknows'. These errors, while not always impeding communication, are noticeable. You use some relevant topic-specific vocabulary like 'career destinations', 'freelance consultants', and 'non-profit organizations', which shows an attempt to use a wider range of language. However, the word choice is sometimes imprecise, and the repetition of basic verbs limits the sophistication of the response. Focusing on accurate spelling and more varied collocations would improve this score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The response contains a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, including missing articles ('from single university', 'in government and private sectors'), incorrect verb forms ('anthropologists graduates'), and punctuation issues (spacing before commas). The sentence structure in the final paragraph is particularly weak, with fragmented phrasing that makes the information difficult to follow. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and punctuation prevents the response from reaching a higher band.
