Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have successfully identified the main features of both the chart and the table. You provided a clear overview and supported your points with data. However, there are some inaccuracies in your reporting. For example, you state that 'the lowest number of graduates decided to study postgraduate study along with part-time work', but the chart shows this category is actually 8%, while 'part-time work' is 12%. Additionally, your interpretation of the salary table is slightly confusing; you mention that 'the percentage of employees earning in a same range are 10% and 35%', which lacks clarity regarding which specific categories you are comparing. To improve, ensure you double-check the data points against the visual aids to avoid misrepresenting the statistics.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is logically organized into paragraphs, with an introduction, an overview, and body paragraphs focusing on the chart and table respectively. You use some cohesive devices such as 'whereas', 'in addition', and 'however' to link ideas. However, the progression of ideas within the second body paragraph is somewhat mechanical and occasionally confusing, particularly when discussing the salary ranges. The referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow which specific data points correspond to which employment sectors. Improving the use of transition words and ensuring clear subject-verb agreement would enhance the flow of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'freelance consultants', 'undergraduate degree', and 'full-time employment'. However, there are several spelling errors, such as 'gaduates', 'goverment', and 'emploees', which detract from the professional tone. You also have some word choice issues, such as 'earning in a same range' instead of 'earning in the same range'. To reach a higher band, focus on accurate spelling and using more precise collocations when describing statistical data, such as 'a significant proportion' instead of 'large numbers'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors throughout the text, such as 'The chart demonstrates career of Anthropology graduates' (missing an article), 'have choosen' (incorrect verb form), and '50 percentage' (should be '50 percent'). Subject-verb agreement is also inconsistent, for example, 'The percentage of freelance consultants... are equal'. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focus on proofreading for basic articles, verb tenses, and pluralization to improve your accuracy.
