The chart below shows what Anthropology graduates from one university did after finishing their undergraduate degree course. The table shows the salaries of the anthropologists in work after five years.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparison where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The chart illustrates the percentages of destination of Anthropology graduates from one university and the table illustrates the incomes of the graduates after five years.

Overall, the highest number of graduates worked in full-time work. In contrast, the lowest percentage of students worked in part-time while pursuing post graduation. In addition, the maximum salary earned from the government sector, while the minimum income counted both for freelance consultants and government sector. Private companies remained in an average level.

About 52% graduates worked in full-time jobs, which was the highest figure shown on the chart. On the other hand, around 5% of students worked in part-time work and studied post graduation, which was the lowest percentage shown on the chart. Additionally, approximately 8% of graduates worked in full-time while studying post graduation, which was identical to the figure for unknown. Roughly 12% of graduates remained unemployed and part-time work was accounted for about 15%.

Five years later, around 50% of anthropologist will earn more than $100,000 from the government sector. About 5% of employees will income from $25,000 to 49,999 from this sector, which will be similar with the freelance consultants. In addition, about 15% of employees will be able to income around $50,000 to 74,999, which will also be similar with the freelance consultants. Moreover, more than $100,000 will be earned by 40% of freelancers and $75,000 to 99,999 will be the salary for the 40% of the same professionals. However, private companies will represent moderate levels of incomes ranging from 10% for the salary of $25,000-49,999 to 30% for more than $100,000.
