Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response covers the main features of both the chart and the table. You successfully identified the primary employment status of graduates and compared salary distributions across the three sectors. However, the response is marred by significant inaccuracies in data transcription (e.g., '*%garaduates', '28$ earned', and inconsistent salary ranges). While you attempted to report the main features, the lack of precision in data reporting and the inclusion of confusing, unformatted figures prevent a higher score. To improve, ensure that all data points are clearly transcribed and that comparisons are made more logically rather than just listing percentages.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is divided into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the logical flow is frequently interrupted by poor sentence construction and a lack of cohesive devices. Transitions between sentences are often missing or mechanical, such as the abrupt start to the third paragraph. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the overall progression of ideas feels disjointed. To improve, use a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'in contrast', 'consequently') to connect your ideas more fluidly and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'Antropology', 'gradutes', 'emplyment', 'Governemts', 'comapratively') that distract the reader. While you use some subject-specific terminology like 'freelance consultants' and 'private firms', the range is limited and repetitive. The misuse of words and persistent spelling mistakes indicate a need for more careful proofreading. Focus on mastering the spelling of key terms related to the task and expanding your range of reporting verbs and comparative adjectives to enhance the sophistication of your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues (e.g., 'There is a several percentage', 'graduates... earns'), missing articles, and incorrect punctuation. Sentence structures are mostly simple, and attempts at complex sentences are often faulty, which impedes clarity. For example, 'One who bacame freelance consultants earns...' contains multiple errors in a single clause. To reach a higher band, you must focus on basic grammatical accuracy, particularly with pluralization and verb tense consistency, and practice constructing more complex sentences without sacrificing clarity.
