Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response covers all parts of the task, including the pie chart and the table. You have identified the main features, such as the dominance of full-time work and the salary trends in the government sector. However, the analysis is somewhat superficial. For example, in the table section, you describe the data as 'hyped' and 'hike', which are informal and imprecise terms for reporting statistical data. Furthermore, the comparison between sectors could be more analytical; rather than just listing percentages, you should focus on the significant differences or trends, such as the government sector's dominance in the highest salary bracket compared to the private sector.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is logically organized into paragraphs, with an introduction, an overview, and two body paragraphs. You use some cohesive devices like 'Additionally', 'Whereas', and 'Furthermore' to link ideas. However, the flow is occasionally disrupted by awkward phrasing, such as 'the remaining portion is displayed the least proportion'. The referencing is sometimes unclear, and the transition between the pie chart data and the table data could be smoother. The structure is functional, but the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical rather than natural.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You have a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey the main points, but there are issues with word choice and register. Using informal language like 'most hyped' and 'hike' is inappropriate for an academic report. There are also errors in collocation and word form, such as 'the date on salaries' (should be 'data') and 'the private companies has the least proportion'. While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of precision and the presence of these errors prevent a higher score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors. Examples include 'government sector provide greater salary' (subject-verb agreement), 'as compare to' (should be 'compared to'), and 'the remaining portion is displayed the least proportion' (passive voice error). Punctuation is generally acceptable, but the frequency of these grammatical slips occasionally distracts the reader. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of prepositions and passive constructions.
