The given pie chart and table illustrates the data regarding the job status and their gross salary after a time period of five years after the graduation of Anthropology students from an university.

Overall, the pie chart shows that nearly half of its student, about 52%, has a full-time work after their graduation. Furthermore, 15% graduates were engaged with part-time work and almost half of that were involved in full time postgrad study and other were unknown of what they were involved into after their graduation. Other than that around 12% peers were unemployed after their study. Moreover, only 5% of the total were involved in dual activity of working and pursuing further studies simultaneously.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have successfully identified the main features of both the pie chart and the table. You provided a clear overview and supported your points with relevant data. However, there are some inaccuracies in your reporting. For instance, you stated that 'almost half' of 15% (part-time workers) were in full-time study, but the chart shows 8% for full-time study, which is more than half of 15%. Additionally, your description of the salary ranges is slightly confusing; for example, you mention '80% graduates having salaries more than 75,000$' for freelance consultants, but the table shows 80% for the 'more than 75,000$' category specifically. Ensure your data interpretation is precise to avoid misrepresenting the figures.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The response is logically organized into clear paragraphs, moving from the pie chart to the table and ending with a summary. You use cohesive devices such as 'Furthermore', 'Other than that', and 'On the other hand' to link ideas. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as 'other were unknown of what they were involved into'. Improving the flow between sentences would help the text read more naturally. Overall, the progression of information is clear and easy to follow.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'freelance consultants', 'undergraduate degree', and 'simultaneously'. There are some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'an university' (should be 'a university') and 'unknown of what they were involved into' (which is awkward phrasing). While you successfully convey the necessary information, the vocabulary is somewhat functional rather than sophisticated. To reach a higher band, try to incorporate more precise reporting verbs and varied descriptors for the data trends.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('The given pie chart and table illustrates' should be 'illustrate') and article usage ('an university'). Additionally, some sentences are slightly clunky, such as 'the graduates in freelance and government has around 20% of employees ranging the salary'. While these errors do not impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on proofreading for basic agreement and article errors will significantly improve your accuracy.
