Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response covers the main features of both the chart and the table, but the analysis is often unclear or inaccurate. For instance, the statement that 'major in Anthropology university students recorded approximately higher than 50 percentage of full-time work' is confusingly phrased and does not clearly convey the data. While you attempt to compare the employment sectors, the description of the salary data is disjointed and lacks precision. To improve, ensure you clearly distinguish between the two distinct datasets (destinations vs. salaries) and use specific data points to support your comparisons rather than vague descriptions like 'larger bunch'.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical flow is frequently interrupted by awkward phrasing and unclear transitions. While you use some cohesive devices like 'Conversely' and 'In contrast', their usage is sometimes forced or does not accurately reflect the relationship between the ideas. The referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the progression of your argument. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each sentence builds logically upon the previous one will significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision required for a higher band. There are several instances of awkward word choices, such as 'mitigated' (which is used incorrectly here to mean 'decreased') and 'widespread major of Anthropology influenced in amount of salaries'. Additionally, phrases like 'more larger bunch' are grammatically incorrect and informal. To improve, focus on using precise terminology for describing data trends, such as 'proportion', 'fluctuated', or 'remained stable', and avoid repetitive or non-academic phrasing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'despite of low percentage' (should be 'despite the low percentage'), 'which enable to gain' (should be 'which enables them to gain'), and 'changes salaries' (should be 'changes in salaries'). Subject-verb agreement and preposition usage are inconsistent throughout the text. To reach a higher band, focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and ensuring that complex sentence structures are constructed correctly.
