Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response fails to complete the task. While it introduces the data and provides an overview, the final paragraph is incomplete, cutting off mid-sentence. Furthermore, the analysis of the table is severely underdeveloped; it mentions the government sector but fails to report the data for the other two sectors (private and full-time work) or provide a comprehensive comparison. Because the response is unfinished and lacks a significant portion of the required data analysis, it does not fully address the prompt.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, and there is an attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'First of all', and 'On the other hand'. However, the progression of ideas is hindered by the incomplete nature of the final paragraph. The referencing is generally clear, but the overall structure is compromised by the abrupt ending, which prevents the essay from having a logical conclusion or a fully developed final point.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but contains several spelling errors, such as 'propostion' (proportion), 'filed' (field), 'grwth' (growth), 'salries' (salaries), and 'governement' (government). While the range is sufficient to convey the basic meaning, these errors are frequent enough to be noticeable. There is little use of less common or sophisticated vocabulary, keeping the lexical range at a functional but limited level.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The response uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors. Examples include 'there was significant grwth can be seen' (incorrect passive construction), '5% of students were started earning' (incorrect verb form), and '50% employees getting' (missing preposition/article). Punctuation is generally acceptable, but the grammatical control is inconsistent, and the incomplete final sentence further detracts from the overall accuracy.
