The chart below shows what Anthropology graduates from one university did after finishing their undergraduate degree course. The table shows the salaries of the anthropologists in work after five years.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparison where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The pie chart illustrates the information about what the Anthropology graduates from one university did after finishing their undergraduate degree course. Whereas, the table demonstrates the information about the salaries of the anthropologists after five years in work.

Overall, it is clearly seen that the Anthropology graduates from one university, who did the full-time work are at the highest ratio. While, Anthropology graduates who worked in the government sector, received the highest salaries after five years.

It is clearly seen in the pie chart that the Anthropolgy graduates who did the full time work are at the highest ratio, that is, about 52%. While, graduates who did the part time work and part-time work with postgrad study are about 15% and 5%, respectively. Likewise, about 8% of the Anthropology students are working full-time with postgrad study as well. Followed by, 12% of students, who are still unemployed and about 8% of people who are not even known.

Moving towards the details provided in the table. The people who worked as the freelance consultants, 5% of them received $25,000-49,999 and 15% of them got $50,000-74,999 and about 80% of them got $75,000-99,999 and $100,000+, respectively, after 5 years of work. Whereas, the adults who worked in the government sector, about 50% of them got $100,000+ salaries. Meanwhile, the people who worked in the private companies, after 5 years of work, the ratio of people who received the salaries above $100,000 were quite less, that is only about 30%.
