IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The chart below shows what Anthropology graduates from one university did after finishing their undergraduate degree course. The table shows the salaries of the anthropologists in work after five years.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparison where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The pie chart shows what did students do after finishing undergraduate degree course from one university in Anthropology and the table below shows the salaries of the anthropologists after five years in work.Overall, full time work employment rate is higher then others and part time worker with postgraduate study students have smallest number. At the start private companies pay more and in the end Government employes make more money.
First of all, most of the anthropology graduates work as a full time worker which was 52% the maximum number in the pie chart. Secondly, 15% graduates work as part time workers and 12% students remained umemployed these all were studied from one university. Those who did further studies as full time postgraduates about 8% as well as other 8% were unknown. Minimum number was 5% of those who did part time work along postgraduate study.
On the other hand, employment types are three firstly, 10% employs of private companies make salaries about 25,000-49,999 dollars as compare to freeance and government sector only 5% employs get this much salary. After some years, 40% freelance consultants make 75,000-99,999$ and only 25% private firms offer this amount of money and 30% government sector which is higher then private sector. After five years,50% government employs make $100,000+ and only 30% private companies employs get this amount of salary whereas, about 40% anthropology students who work as freelancer consultants get this amount of salary.
