IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The chart below shows what Anthropology graduates from one university did after finishing their undergraduate degree course. The table shows the salaries of the anthropologists in work after five years.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparison where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
This pie chart illustrates what anthropology graduates after degree. Furthermore, the table shows, the earning of the graduates after five years of working. Over all, after graduation half of the students went straight to the full time job and share higher rate among other type of employments. while, people who work in government sector have higher proportion of earning.
After completing graduate degree in anthropology more than half 52% successfully secure full-time jobs , followed by part time workers at 15% . Postgraduates who prefer to study and work parallel only 8% full time postgraduate study and 5% of post graduates do part-time jobs along with the degree. 12% graduates remain unemployed and 8% unknown.
In table, government sector employees earn most , half of them usually received salary around $100,00 and mor, and 30% earned $75,000-$99,999. Freelance consultants split equally 40% $75000 - $99000 and 40% earn 100,000 more proportion after 5 years. However, private sector workers earn pretty less among others at 35% earn around $50000-$74,999 and 30 % earn $100,000 or more.
