IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The chart below shows what Anthropology graduates from one university did after finishing their undergraduate degree course. The table shows the salaries of the anthropologists in work after five years.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparison where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

This pie chart represents the ratio of Anthropology graduates of a university relative to their future choices. In addition, salary ranges after five years of work across three categories are also given in the table below.

Full-time work is the top priority of 52% of the anthropology graduates, while 12% of them are still unemployed. 8% of the gradutes choose to study full-time postgraduate study while some of the students data is unknown with the same rtaio. A minimal 5% contribution is consitutued by the graduates who are continuing their studies and working part-time simultaneously.

Based on the types of employment, government sector is the higest paying job market for half of the graduates with salaries amounting to $100,000+. In contrast, private sector is the least popular, with 30% graduates for the same salary. Although, private companies are paying the highest ratio of 10% in the minimum range of $25,000 to $49,000 as compared to Freelance concultants and government sector with 5% each.
