IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The chart below shows what Anthropology graduates from one university did after finishing their undergraduate degree course. The table shows the salaries of the anthropologists in work after five years.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparison where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
A study on the Anthropolgy graduates from a university shows that more than fifty percent students went on to secure a full time job. About fifteen percent are doing part time work and five percent are also doing part time work but they are also persuing postgraduate studies. Eight percent of the students continued their full time studies and got enrolled in postgraduate degrees. twelve percent of the students were unable to secure any jobs and neither they continued their studies so they are currently unemployed. No information is available about the rest of the eight percent students.
The salaries of Anthropology graduates after the five years of work experience are compared on the basis of their type of employement. The omparision shows that five percent of the graduates who are freelance cosultants and govenment sector and ten percent of the graduates who are working in private companies have their salaries ranging from $25,000 to $49,999. fifteen percent of them who are in freelan
