IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The chart below shows what Anthropology graduates from one university did after finishing their undergraduate degree course. The table shows the salaries of the anthropologists in work after five years.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparison where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The given pie chart illustrates the proportation of what Anthropologists did after completing their undergraduate degree course from one university. The table illustrates their salaries in work after time period of five years.
Overall, full-time work showed largesrt and more than half proportion while students involved in part-time work and postgraduate study was were at least rate. Rest of the three destinations remained in between.
After graduating, out of 100 percent 52 percent of graduates secured full time work, 12 percent remained unemployed, 8 percent took admessions in full-time postgrad study while 8 percent are not known, 15 percent did part-time job and 5 percent of them did part time work along with postgrad studies.
The tables showed that, after five years of work 5 percent of Antrhopologist who are freelance consultants, in governments sector and 10 percent of them in private companies ean between 25,000 to 49,999. 15 percent of freelance consultants and in governments sectors and 35 percent in private companies earn between 50,000 to 74,999. 40 percent of freelance consultants, 30 percent in government sector and 25 percent in private companies earn between 75,000 to 99,999. 40 percent of freelance consultants, 50 percent in government sector and 30 percent in private companies earn 100,000.
