IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The chart below shows what Anthropology graduates from one university did after finishing their undergraduate degree course. The table shows the salaries of the anthropologists in work after five years.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparison where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The pie chart tells information about the percentage of students doing work after completing there studies in anthropologists . The table provide information about the proportion of salaries in work after five year.
Overall, the percentage of full time work students recorded the highest figure . Meanwhile, the proportion of student doing jobs in govermment sector made up the highest salary.
Acording to the pie chart, the percentage of student doing full time work recorded 52%, compared with 15% for the student doinng part time work. However the proportion of student which remain unemployed made up 12%. Furthermore, the figure of students doing full time postgrad study recorded 8% which is similar to the percentage of student whose remain unknown.
Turning to the table, the percentage of students earning between 25000 and 45000 dolar are in private companies which made 10% while other sectors stood at 5% . Overall the students earning over 100,000 are in govermment sectors made 50%compared with freelance consultants at 40%
