IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The chart below shows what Anthropology graduates from one university did after finishing their undergraduate degree course. The table shows the salaries of the anthropologists in work after five years.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparison where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The pie chart represents the work which is done by Anthropology students after completing thier undergraduate degree course from one colloge and the table compares the wages of the anthropologist in work after five years.
overall , it is evident from the pie chart that the majority of the Anthropology graduates has got full time job, whereas there are very less people for part-time work and pstgrad study. From the table we can identify that the people who got job in Government sector were paid the most after 5 years .
To begin with , the majority of the Anthropology Graduates that is 52% are working in full time job whereas the only 5% of the students are doing part-time work with postgraduate study. graduates who are working in part time job were less than one fourth of the total graduates . . Unemployment among this students were about 12%. there are 8% Anthropolgy graduates that are doing full time postgrad study and also same percentage of number students data is not known.
On the othr hand, the highest paid anthropologiest are from the Governmnnet sector in whuch they are paid arounf 100,000+ after 5 years and in same sector only 5% of the population was earning like one fourth of them. For Freelance consultants, 40% of the students are earning between 75,000 to 100,000+. Whereas for private companies the least amount paid to employes after 5 yeras is 25,000 - 49,000 .
