The chart below shows what Anthropology graduates from one university did after finishing their undergraduate degree course. The table shows the salaries of the anthropologists in work after five years.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparison where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The pie chart illustrates what work Anthropology graduates did after completing their under graduation course in one university, while the table demonstrates the wages of the anthropologists after 5 years in work.

Overall, the highest number of Anthropology graduates works full-time job, followed by part-time work. In contrast, government sectors experienced the highest wages whereas private companies has the lowest salary to do work.

In a pie-chart, the percentage of Anthropology graduates who are working for full-time denoted as 52%. Followed by part-time job, which is accounted for 15%. Moreover, 12% of Anthropology graduates are unemployed while who are not doing any work and full-time post graduates are reported as 8% respectively. Apart from this, 5% of total Anthropology graduates works part-time with studies post graduation.

In the table, the government sector outperformed freelance consultants and private enterprises in both the $75,000-$99,999 and more than $100,000 ranges at 50%. Freelance consultants, of whom 40% earned more than $100,000, were hired in the government sector for salaries ranging from $25,000 to $74,999. In the end, 30% of graduates who enrolled in private companies received more than $100,000.
