IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The chart below shows what Anthropology graduates from one university did after finishing their undergraduate degree course. The table shows the salaries of the anthropologists in work after five years.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparison where relevant.
Student answer (Band 4.5)
In this picture data is shared for the students who passed their undergraduate degree course in Anthropology. The chart is showing different type of jobs done after degree depending upon their time and work load. As we can see that major students who did their degree in this subject are doing full time job.15% people are part time job , 12% are unemployed due to various reasons, 8% are doing full time post graduate study to upgrade their degree and other 8% data is not known while 5% are doing study plus job altogether.
In other chart you can see the data after every five years according to their pay scale. If we talk about freelance consultants in their start of career 5% increase in salaries but at the there is 40% boost in their pay scale. If we start discussing goverment sector job they follow the same ratio of 5% in their start but at end they get 50 % benefits in their salaries. In private companies they start salaries with 10% increase but growth is slow with passage of time and ended up with just 30% increase in their salaries after spending 15 years in private companies.
