Student answer (Band 5.0)
Summarizing the graphical data of the destinantion of Anthropology graduates there is an alter between the opinions of the graduates , most students get to full time work , part time work and some are determined to their studies , i would like to breakdwon their salaries and and employment details.
To begin with i would start from the freelance consultants that are less in numbers, because it fall under the category of part-time work their annual growth is really increasing as they are working part time but with a great pace.
Moreover the government sector is doing quite well because they are doing full-time work and the pace of these are not good as compared to the freelance part time work, but if you see at the last year performance they kick in with 50% crossing $[redacted phone]+.
Furthermore private companies anthropology graduates kick-start at the begining of their career and the next year but as they progress over the years their worth get down and the last year performance is bad from all lowering below the government and freelance consultants.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
The response addresses the task only partially and presents a confused interpretation of the visual data. Rather than reporting the actual figures, such as the 52% of graduates entering full-time work or the salary distributions for different sectors, the writer misinterprets the charts as showing chronological trends or changes over time (e.g., 'annual growth', 'next year performance', 'the last year performance'). Furthermore, parts of the text veer into personal commentary, such as 'i would like to breakdwon their salaries', which is inappropriate for an Academic Task 1 report. Key features and comparisons between sectors are missed or inaccurately described.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is some basic organization with paragraphs attempting to separate the introduction, freelance consultants, government sector, and private companies. However, there is no clear overall progression or logical structure appropriate for academic data reporting. Cohesive devices are weak, repetitive, and rely heavily on basic transition phrases like 'To begin with i would start', 'Moreover', and 'Furthermore'. Referencing is also confusing, as the text frequently uses vague pronouns like 'they' and 'these' without clear antecedents, making it difficult to follow which data group is being discussed.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary range is limited and contains noticeable errors that cause difficulty for the reader. There are spelling and word-form errors, such as 'destinantion', 'alter' instead of 'alternative' or 'distribution', and 'breakdwon'. Inappropriate word choices are also present throughout the response, such as using 'annual growth' and 'pace' to describe salary bracket percentages in a static table. Attempts to use less common vocabulary fail due to inaccurate collocations and misuse of statistical terminology.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer uses a very limited range of structures and struggles with basic sentence boundaries, producing run-on sentences joined improperly with commas (e.g., 'most students get to full time work , part time work and some are determined to their studies , i would like to breakdwon...'). There are frequent errors in verb tenses, capitalization (failing to capitalize the pronoun 'i'), and prepositions within grammatical patterns. These frequent errors disrupt the flow and can cause comprehension difficulties for the reader.
