Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You identify the main destination, correctly noting that full-time work is the largest category at 52%, and you report several other destination figures accurately. You also compare the highest salary band across the three employment types. However, the overview is partly inaccurate: “least number of graduates are not known” conflicts with the data, since part-time work plus postgraduate study is lowest at 5%, while “not known” is 8%. The claim that government-sector graduates “earn huge money than any other sectors” is too broad; government has the largest share in the top band, but the table shows distributions across four salary ranges. More detail on the middle salary bands would make the account more complete and better supported.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, an overview, and separate paragraphs for destinations and salaries. This helps the reader distinguish the two visuals. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, and linking words do not always express the relationship accurately. For example, “however” introduces the 5% figure without a clear contrast, while “On the other hand” does not establish a meaningful opposition between destinations and salary data. The salary paragraph also moves from the highest band to the lowest without explaining the remaining categories. Use clearer grouping and comparisons, and make each paragraph develop one main point in a logical order.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary such as “graduates,” “full-time work,” “unemployed,” and “government sector,” so the subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are noticeably inaccurate, including “the set if charts,” “does full-time work,” “huge money,” and “more than 1,00,000$ salaries earners.” These expressions make parts of the report awkward or unclear. Some labels are also inconsistent, such as “freelance sector” for “freelance consultants.” Aim for precise chart-reporting language, including “accounted for,” “salary band,” and “the proportion earning,” and use the categories as labelled in the visual.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a contrast with “however” and a comparison introduced by “while.” Nevertheless, errors occur frequently in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction, sometimes making the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “who did finished,” “52% of students doing,” “the number has same,” and “15% of the students does.” The opening sentence also combines several ideas without a secure grammatical structure. Practise forming accurate reporting sentences in the present simple—for example, “52% of graduates entered full-time work”—and check subject–verb agreement and article use. More reliable control of these basic patterns would make your comparisons clearer.
