Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You cover both visuals and identify the main destination pattern: full-time work is the largest category at 52%. You also make a useful comparison between salary sectors, noting that government and freelance workers are concentrated in the higher bands. However, some details are inaccurate or unclear. The 8% figures are full-time postgraduate study and “not known”; part-time work plus postgraduate study is 5%, not 8%, and unemployment at 12% is omitted while “not known” is reported as 12%. The overview’s claim that most employed graduates earn over $75,000 is not supported across all sectors, particularly private companies. Clarify the salary bands and compare the distributions more precisely to make the report more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, an overview, and separate paragraphs for the pie chart and salary table. This makes the information easy to follow, and transitions such as “According to” and “Regarding salaries” signal the change of focus. The overview also gives the reader a useful starting point. Some linking is less controlled, however: “While the highest paid…” is a fragment, and the final salary paragraph strings together several claims with “While” rather than developing a clear comparison. The sequence of pie-chart details is mostly logical, but the incorrect category reporting makes the progression harder to track. Use complete sentences and organise the salary comparisons around the highest and lowest bands in each sector.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant task vocabulary, including “destinations,” “proportion,” “postgraduate study,” “freelance consultants,” and “employment sectors,” so the topic is generally clear. There are also attempts at comparison, such as “largest proportion by far” and “as compared to.” However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “piechart,” “Anthropologyy,” “equall,” “Regrading,” and “emplyees.” Some phrases are imprecise or unnatural, such as “high earning is common,” “earn 75,000,” and “makes it to the 100,000+.” Use standard forms and more precise salary language, for example, “earn between $75,000 and $99,999” or “fall into the $100,000-plus band.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt a mixture of simple and more complex sentences, including the overview sentence beginning “Overall” and comparisons introduced with “while.” Meaning is usually recoverable, but grammatical control is uneven. Examples include missing or incorrect articles and plurals in “52% graduates” and “a graduates,” agreement errors in “the employees that works,” and incomplete constructions such as “While the highest paid are those work in government sector.” The sentence beginning “The government sectors pay 80% graduates…” also has a confusing structure, and the capitalised “Which” after a comma is not correctly attached to the preceding clause. Practise accurate noun phrases, subject–verb agreement, and complete subordinate clauses; then check punctuation and sentence boundaries.
