Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You identify several relevant figures, including 52% in full-time work, 15% in part-time work, and 12% unemployed, and you attempt to compare the salary outcomes. However, key relationships are misreported: the chart does not say that the 52% in full-time work were government employees, or that the 15% in part-time work were in private companies. The salary table gives distributions by employment sector, not by graduates’ destination category. The overview that government workers earned more than private-company employees is broadly supported, but the claim that private employees earned “low salary” overlooks that 30% earned $100,000 or more. The response is also below the required 150 words. Separate the two visuals clearly and report their data accurately.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a basic structure: an opening, a paragraph containing figures, and a concluding overview. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “while,” and “In end” show an attempt to connect information. However, the main paragraph moves abruptly between graduate destinations and salary sectors, making the relationships difficult to follow; for example, “There are 52% people who worked as a full-time” is immediately linked to government salaries without evidence that these groups correspond. The conclusion repeats a broad comparison rather than drawing together the two visuals clearly. Organise the response into a paragraph for destinations and one for salary patterns, then use clear references and transitions to guide the reader.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

Your vocabulary is sufficient to name some task categories, including “full-time,” “part-time,” “unemployed,” and “postgrad study.” However, the range is limited and several choices are inaccurate or informal for an academic report. “Handsome salaries” is an unsuitable collocation, while “low income” and “average number of worker” do not precisely describe the table. Spelling errors such as “differet,” “Anthroplogy,” and “governmwnt” are noticeable, and “employ” is used where “employees” is needed. Use neutral reporting language and precise terms such as “salary band,” “proportion,” and “employment sector,” checking spelling and word forms before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt some connected and complex sentences, for example, “Moreover, 12% people were unemployed, while other 8% people did full-time postgrad study and not known.” However, grammatical errors are frequent and sometimes make the intended relationships unclear. Articles and prepositions are often missing or incorrect (“52% people,” “worked as a full-time”), and verb forms and sentence construction are weak in “while other 8% people did full-time postgrad study and not known.” The final sentence also has agreement and structure problems: “average number of worker did Government jobs.” Most sentences rely on simple patterns, with limited accurate control of longer structures. Practise complete clauses, plural forms, articles, and consistent past-tense reporting.
